Defeat The Destroyer of The World (Read OP)

Darquesse is destroying the world. A ROB (Random Omnipotent Being) has granted you 4 powers to bring her down, which you can find by clicking here.

To find out more about Darquesse, click here. Now, I know this is obvious, but I'll say it anyway. That IS a wiki page, so it won't be 100% accurate, so if you have any more questions in regards to Darquesse, the nature of her powers and some of her feats, feel free to tag me.

Scenario 1

Rules:

• Darquesse has morals on (at least, what morals she normally has...)
• Darquesse has bloodlust off
• Both you and Darquesse have no prep, however, the ROB has told you what powers you have and has given you a quick run down on what they entail/how to use them before the fight begins.
• You know as much on Darquesse as you did before clicking on this thread/reading up on her. Darquesse knows nothing about you.
• No BFR
• BFD/Terrain manipulation is allowed. To expand on this, the terrain can be used/destroyed during the battle, along with it being able to be used as a meaning of victory (i.e. Darquesse impaling you on a tree)
• No outside help or interference
• Win by death, a KO of longer than 10 minutes or permanent incapacitation

• Darquesse has morals off
• Darquesse is completely bloodlusted
• In this scenario, you have had your powers your entire life and have completely mastered them.
• Both you and Darquesse have 3 days of prep.
• You have the wiki page on Darquesse to find out about her. Darquesse does have a wiki page on you, but she does have access to the wiki pages on your powers. (In case I'm not being clear, Darquesse knows about your powers but not you as a person, so she knows nothing about your personality or your past)
• No BFR

Hmm, I suppose I should give this a shot myself, eh?

Let's see, I got:

• Pure Ice Manipulation
• Madness Aura
• Water Attacks
• Skin Manipulation

Power Analysis:

Well, the ice one could prove useful, as it allows me to freeze anything evil/dark... and Darquesse is the Ultimate Evil. However, Darquesse has impeccable elemental powers herself. I don't recall any with water specifically, but she does have magically black fire, which is capable of burning through just about anything. She also can shoot beams of pure magic which turn boulders and re-enforced titanium doors to dust. So those could probably deal with any ice-based attacks. Madness Aura seems quite interesting, but I doubt it would be much use against Darquesse. After all, she already is pretty mad. Secondly, she's shown that any attempt to manipulate/alter her mind usual results in the assailant's (excruciatingly painful, might I add) demise. Seriously, from a full blown mental assault from over 10 heavily trained Sensitives to Eldritch Abominations, The Jitter Girls, literally sticking their hands into her head, Darquesse always comes out on top. As for water attacks? I guess that goes nicely with ice manipulation, but that won't help me very much in the fight. Skin manipulation seems to be just plain useless.

First Scenario:

Okay, so how do I think the fight would go? Well, because of my inexperience with my powers I would probably just make some water splash in Darquesse's face. I would the proceed to be horrifically tortured until Darquesse grows bored of me, at which point she would finally put me out of my misery.

Second Scenario:

This one could pan out a little differently. As I now have complete mastery over my powers, I would most likely go full force on sending as many ice-spears as I can directly at her brain. However, Darquesse does have quite impressive speed feats (at very least superhuman level), both combat and travel wise, so she would probably just batter the ice shards out of the way. Then, considering that she's bloodlusted, would cut the crap of torturing me and just shoot my head off with beams of pure magic.

Conclusion:

I get stomped hard. Both rounds.

I win both rounds by simply using my Malefic force manipulation (which allows me to control anything evil/sinful/etc.) to control her and her powers.


Come on now. I'm a dragon with ultimate control over everything dark/evil/sinful/etc. I have divine weather control (which is far superior to elemental control cause mine's divine); and my energy balls can be used as constructs; and to incinerate, disintegrate, control gravity, etc.

Well, the first one is kinda useless. The second one gives me advanced technology, but from what I've read about this Darquesse character, I doubt they would be very useful. I guess I could use the third one to make her like me... well, not really 'like' just want to be my friend... XD. And the last one could be useful, but I highly doubt she would be scared of me, so it would be useless.

With armour of light opposed to Darquesses darkness, creating objects with my mind (such as cages to trap her while stabbing her with 100s of swords). That would give me the edge. But having the powers of a Skyfather let's me win this.

Right, so I rolled four times and here's what I got.

Temporal Lordship, Thermal Resistance, Psammokinetic Constructs and Electricity Mimicry.

Temporal Lordship makes this a horrifically broken stomp, so I'm going to limit those powers to only Chronokinetic Combat and Chronokinetic Constructs to make this a bit more fun.

Scenario 1:

Well I'm current with Skulduggery Pleasant so I'd be very much cautious of Darquesse based on her feats shown in Last Stand being pretty powerful. She'd have no morals towards me anyway so that doesn't particularly affect the scenario. As for my powers sand manipulation is very much useless within a city so that is pretty bad for me, however Time Constructs and Electricity Manipulation / Generation can make up for this somewhat. Based on the fact that I've only just been given my powers the version of Electrical Mimicry that I'd have would be the lesser of the two versions on the page, which give me: Pain Suppression, Electrokinetic Flight (via Electric Aura) and Intangibility all of which will be incredibly useful. Darquesse is still a much more versatile fighter with both Elemental and Necromancer abilities available to her (as well as her being able to switch to different types of magic on a whim e.g. Telekinesis) alongside excellent H2H fighting skills. Thankfully I have Thermal Resistance which makes me immune to her fire attacks which shuts down a pretty dangerous portion of her arsenal, however thanks to my Electrical Mimicry I'm also weak to water which she could kill me with. I don't see how I really have the power to put her down permanently but I'm sure that I could tango with her for a fair while thanks to the Precog / Time Reduction given by Chronokinetic Combat. She definitely has the speed advantage on me, but also the strength and versatility to outclass me via Necromancy and Elemental attacks.

I'd say that I'd last maybe ten to fifteen minutes tangling with her thanks to Pain Suppression / Intangibility but 9/10 times our game of rock paper scissors would end with her short circuiting me.
I'd argue that 1/10 times I'd be able to get the drop on her, then proceed to blitz her with a combination of varied Chronokinetic Weapons, Time Deceleration, Electrokinetic Flight and Intangibility; so maybe I'd be able decapitate her but that's highly unlikely. Depending on how she reacts to my Electrical attacks I guess I could fry her brain but I'm unsure as to whether or not that would work due to her regeneration.

I say Darquesse soundly beats me 9/10 times even with the advantage of surprise.

Scenario 2:

This is a much more even battle but before I write a response I need to know one fact: Is the planet's surface covered in sand?

I can't particularly tell from the picture but it is kinda a big detail given that one of my powers is Sand Constructs.

Also what do you think about Scenario 1, I'm interested to know!

@god_of_batman: It does not sound wrong placed into context. I am a girl, ergo, it is anatomically impossible to do what you have suggestively suggested.

And after much deliberation, it is respectfully (not really) submitted that I can solo with Law Manipulation. I can manipulate the laws of physics and the universe. I simply make it so that no one has magic powers. Darquesse is powerless. I brought a shot gun. Boom. Done.

As for your scenario 1? I think it's great, you went into very in-depth detail about how you think the fight would go down. Although, getting the drop on Darquesse wouldn't be easy, as she would sense disruptions in the air for ages before you even got to her. You would have to wait until she was distracted by something for that to work.

And sure, let's say there's little pockets of sand every 500 meters or so.

Round 1: I had no idea who Darquesse was before reading her wiki, but it doesn't matter. If someone told me I have the power to erase anything from existence, then that's what I'm going for as soon as the fight starts. I one-shot her, then proceed to hit my dougie.

Round 2: Prep doesn't make a difference. Only way she could save herself from being erased would be for her to not even show up to the battle. I one-shot her and proceed to hit my dougie once again.

Okay, so is are these good powers? Bloody hell, they're great!

I've got this. Stick Figure Physiology allows me to become 2D to avoid attacks and sneak up on Darquesse. I can become incredibly slender so I can dodge most of her attacks and I can literally create things just by drawing them.

Warping gives me the ability to warp reality and all that junk - bye bye darquesse atomisation, soul destroying junk. You might have solved the mechanics of reality, but I am the mechanics of reality.

Water Generation is stupid. I'll let that die.

Boundary restoration means that I can literally transcend and reshape the boundaries between existence and non-existence - combined with reality warping, not to mention straight up drawing things into existence, I could actually be set up to be a multi-eternity tier at the very least.

I've read all the skulduggery books, so I'm familiar with darquesse, and I know how powerful she is, but with these powers I stomp both rounds easily.

Don't really know enough about this one to know how helpful it would be, though the page does list The Power of Three from Charmed under this one so it could be pretty powerful.

I think I take her, the first one means she really can't do anything to me, the others are how I can hurt her.

Power Supernatural senses,Bio-Electricity Manipulation,Point system,Magma attack I think i would get about 5/10 time on round 1 with supernatural senses, B-E manipulation give me the mean to survive and magma attack to decapitate her or destroy her brain.

On round 2 i will stomp her with Point system and prep, i get to upgrade physical stat, magic resistance and also upgrade other skill and unlock more skill. Round 2 i rekt her 10/10
