Defeat my Sinister Six and then beat Viners teams!

Who?

Where and when?

Let's be cliche and have the age old Times Square battle. The location will be unpopulated but packed with idle vehicles. Everything will be on limits and it'll be mi-day. Teams will start at opposite ends.

What?

All characters are standard versions and in character. Standard elimination rules apple.

What are the rules for your team?

• You're limited to 6 characters.
• Only one character can have strength 15 tons or above but it must be under 30.
• Only one character with an accelerated healing factor (on par with the likes of Wolverine and such).
• Only one character with a focus on energy/power based projectiles.
• Only one character that can fly.
• All remaining roster slots must be deemed street level.
• No one that can solo.
• No one with magic/illusions/holograms/etc.
• No intangibility.
• No speedsters.
• No one with a focus on mental powers (TP/TK, Mr. X, etc).
• Must be a Marvel or DC character.
• Be sure to put a lot of time and thought into your team. It'll have to hold up to teams that other Viners create, too!!!!
• I have the final say on if a character breaks the rules. Arguing will be pointless and just waste time. So please move along accordingly, citizen.

Anyway, Toxin is too strong and both Deadpool and Deathstroke have accelerated healing factors. Only 1 per team, sir!

And that's about as far as I got. And I don't think I really would need anymore

Black Panther's Vibranium should do well against Venom

Cardiac's accuracy is decent but I don't think he can tag my team. Same with Shocker.

Cyber survives Rhino because of his powers he doesn't beat Rhino but he distracts him for a while.

Deadshot could put a bullet in Shocker or Cardiacs head after sniping Kraven.

And Luke's skin should protect him from both of their attacks. Then they gang up on Rhino and bring down the rampaging monster

I would also like to change Archangel for Wasp. and Deadpool to Cyber

@Recoil1985 I thought you might feel that way. I consider him a high-end street, but it's your thread so you make the decision.

anyways here is how I broke my fight down.

venom vs Wizard (Dont see Wizards tech hurting venom, at least not easily)

shocker vs electro (he has far greater energy output)

cardiac vs wolverine (ha, logan has defeated him twice before pretty easily)

tombstone vs prince (far superior fighting skills)

rhino vs warpath (much smarter, can fly, his vibranium knives can cut Rhino)

kraven vs bullseye (takes a while, but I think bullseye can win against a classic Kraven, who lacks a healing factor)

In the end Venom is taken down by the combined efforts of my team.

I've heard Prince of Orphans has abilities around the same level as Danny. If that's true, he's not allowed. Current Electro is a no-go, but I'd allow pre-Gauntlet upgrade Electro. I don't know anything about Wizard. Info?

And Kraven is current.

That's not accurate. The first time Wolverine won because Cardiac's staff destroyed the brick wall, causing it to collapse on him. However during their second encounter Wolverine never even got in a hit in before it was stopped. Cardiac tagged him twice and Nightcrawler made them realize they were on the same side.

Thanks for being open-minded instead of arguing about it. I'm inclined to not allow Danny. His abilities make him quite a powerhouse.

@Recoil1985 Prince is waaaay above Danny. He was stomping Danny in Defenders recently and Silver Surfer had to throw him into a volcano, and Danny was confident Prince would survive it. As to my own team, I shall replace Danny with Flash Venom if he's acceptable, or of you consider him above street as well, then I will take Bucky.

I was joking about the rules, most of these types of things the rules get to be broken by the creator, as long as its not too much to handle, (which in this case it isn't)

OK about the Prince, I will go with the pre gauntlet electro then. Wizard is a smart, techy type villain, he uses gravity thingies that stick to walls or other people and used to control a small gravity field around them.I will take out Prince for Hobgoblin (Urich). I will trade Wizard for Lizard. I will trade out Electro for Gambit, if he is allowed. if Gambit is allowed:

venom vs Hobgoblin (Urich) (sonic scream ftw)

shocker vs bullseye (could go either way but Bullseye obviously has better aim)

cardiac vs lizard (I think Lizard is fast enough to dodge Cardiac's attacks, if Spidey can then Lizard can too. Cardiac has been hurt by Scorpion before, so Lizard should be able to as well, but getting up close would be risky. Dont know for now.)

tombstone vs wolverine

rhino vs american eagle (much smarter, stronger than Spidey so he can prob land a KO)

kraven vs gambit (leaning towards gambit in a random encounter, but kraven could definitely win here)

also, im assuming this is standard gear.

@ChaosBlazer Flash beat Phil already, and most people would still take Eddie over Flash.

ao my new team is Phil Urich as Hobgoblin(flying guy), gambit (energy guy), wolverine (healing guy), bullseye(street level), lizard(street level), and american eagle (strength guy)

@BringnIt: sonic scream? and phil has the firesword and exploding pumpkins. Those are Venom's only 2 weaknesses, sonics and fire.

@ChaosBlazer they are weaknesses, yeah, but they have never been auto-wins against a skilled symbiote and there are numerous encounters of the Venom symbiote overcoming them, including when Flash beat Phil. Edit: I guess technically it was more of a stalemate.

@BringnIt: Damn! youre right. trading out Warpath for American Eagle, he is at 25 ton strength and is smart enough to defeat Rhino, he is very fast and agile too.

I'll accept Venom as long as he can't "Venom-out" and we assume he's at 11 ton strength, yet still can take damage like Flash does (not immune to stabbing/slashing/etc).

I also think if someone is going to use Phil he should count as the projectile slot. That lunatic laugh is one hell of an attack.

@ChaosBlazer I'll try to make time to post scans tomorrow of their fight. @Recoil1985 works for me.

So who would I be fighting? Is my team okay? Little confused on if someone has been taken. Also not sure if some of my peeps are not allowed, just let me know and I'll gladly change it. :D

Luke Cage (Strong) could easily beat Rhino after a long fight(Luke is smarter, a great fighter, and could tank hits from much more powerful foes).

DareDevil(Street) would hang with Shocker till help arrives.

Gambit(Energy) would just blow up all of tombstones clothes.

Batman(Bruce, Street) with his equipment, takes on Venom with his weakness to sound.

Daken(Before he lost his healing) beats cardiac. Wolverine can do it, so can Daken, who IMO is more dangerous.

TaskMaster(Street) takes on Kraven. Copies his moves. Wins.

Wolverine is going to drop Tombstone pretty quickly, maybe in just a few shots. He will then be able to help others.

Venom is not as powerful as he used to be so I believe Wolverine not only can keep Venom busy like he used to but can actually win. If nothing else, he will tie Venom up and keep him off of the rest of the team.

Cyclops will face off against Cardiac. He will prevent Cardiac's shots from connecting with others and has the power to actually hurt Cardiac.

I do not see how Kaine will really lose to Kraven. He has too many advantages over him.

Peter and Ben can both take on Shocker. Shocker is probably the hardest character to beat here so putting both Spiders on him should make it easier. Peter's new ninja abilities will be a big help here as well.

Cap will take on the Rhino. Adamantium shields backed by super human strength to the unprotected face will do more than a peak human boot will.

• Luke Cage - Cycops BFRs Cage right from the get go and can provide support to the rest of the team.
• DareDevil - Ultimate Captain America should win in this fight due to vastly superior stats and slightly inferior H2H ability. It is okay to be inferior in one field if all the others far outstrip the opponent's.
• Gambit - Ben will make short work of Gambit. All he has to do is trap and encase Gambit in one of his web bombs. Gambit will not be able to charge them to get free unless he was willing to kill himself to do it.
• Batman(Bruce) - Wolverine will win in this encounter. Batman is good and an argument can be made that he is the superior combatant (I think they are even in H2H but I do not want to get into that here) but he really just will not be able to handle Wolverine's combination of abilities all at once.
• Daken(Before he lost his healing) - Spider-Man already learned how to defeat this little monster. That in addition to actually knowing how to actually fight this time around, I see this being fairly open and close.
• TaskMaster - Tasky is not beating Kaine.

• U.S.Agent - Cyclops might suffer from a humiliatingly massive case of the stupids against Captain America, but I doubt he will have that kind of problem against a man with only one arm and one leg (assuming current). If this is pre-warden US Agent, then Cyclops should still win due to optic knockout.
• Bane - Ultimate Captain America will break the Bane.
• Captain America - Wolverine will have to work for it hard here but there should be no doubt that Wolverine will win. Giant Man is not waiting in the shadows to save Cap this time.
• Nightwing - Kaine will make short work of Nightwing and provide a powerhouse assist to anyone else, guaranteeing the win.
• Lizard - I am putting Ben on Lizard here because he knows how to take Lizard down, thanks to Parker's memories only he will take the fight far more seriously. I believe that Ben's trick webs could also greatly benefit Ben against Lizard for incapacitation or gumming things up while Ben eventually gets a win.
• Deathstroke - Spider-Man should be more than enough to take the terminator down. And his spider sense should keep him well protected from DS's wide range of ability. If DS had prep, I could see him getting a win but without knowledge on Parker and without prep, I just do not see him getting a win.

• Power Man - I am going to assume you meant Luke Cage because the new Power Man should be considered far too powerful. If that is the case, Cyclops BFRs him like in the above post and can support other fights.
• Deadpool - Wolverine. Sure Deadpool has won in the past but so has Wolverine and it just comes right down to the fact that Wolverine is better and he has no doubt in his mind that he can kill Deadpool if he actually wanted to.
• Archangel before he got his regeneration abilities - Spider-Man would work best here. Archangel can fire poison darts but he cannot hit Spider-Man with them and if Parker does get in trouble, he can always count on Cyclops, who knows Warren better than he knows himself.
• Deadshot - This seems fairly straightforward. Deadshot might be able to tag someone as fast as Ben but Ben also is smart enough to create shields with webs. In close quarters, it is a no brainer.
• Black Panther - Kaine should be able to squeak a win. He is nowhere near as skilled as Black Panther but his stats are so insanely above BP that it should not be too much of a factor.
• Daredevil - As stated above, Ultimate Captain America should be able to overwhelm Daredevil here.

@DangerousLoki

• Spider-Man - Meet Kaine, the guy that has practically made a career out of putting the hurt on Spider-Man.
• Batman - Ultimate Captain America will Deathstroke Batman pretty quickly. If Cap gets in trouble (unlikely) Cyclops can always snipe Batman.
• Moon Knight - Wolverine makes short work of Moony.
• Electro - Spider-Man knows enough about Electro that he should get the win. Might as well stack the deck and put Ben on him as well.

Bet you wish you picked two more lol.

• Wolverine - Spider-Man incapacitates his Odd Couple buddy.
• Hobgoblin (Urich) - I think Ultimate Captain America should be able to pull a win. Cap's speed is probably the key here. I think Cap would close the gap and pull Urich apart.
• Gambit - Kaine can use his stealth and just knock Gambit out. No mess. No fuss.
• American Eagle - 15 ton character that I know nothing about? Hmmm.... BFR with Cyclops optic bast.
• Bullseye - Wolverine. There is absolutely no reason to believe Bullseye will pose a threat to Wolverine in the long run. Wolverine will have to work for it but he will win. And considering the speed in which everyone else should wipe out their opponents, he will have help if he needs it.
• Lizard - Ben is all over Lizard for the same reason listed in another user's team.
