reading this thread it's amazing how little so many members of this forum actually know about comics.

And no, LT can not beat Thanos w/ HotU.

The problem (apart from the HotU being basically unbeatable) is that the team has one member than makes the rest insignificant AND you aren't allowed to have a character that solos. It's like if I said this:

Beat my team, 3 members allowed, nobody that solos:
