Formatting: B
I'm looking at your debate with HTTK (Loki vs Dr.Strange CAV) and it seems like you've gotten a decent formatting setup. I would; however, suggest that you might highlight key points of the debate such as making a section for comments regarding the Blinding Spell you've mentioned, a section for Doctor Strange's telepathic feats, a section for the Bands of C argument, etc.
I do this (as can be seen in my battle w/Beatboks1) to highlight each and every one of the main debate points, and this way when people read the argument they can clearly see each section and read your arguments for them.
What you're currently doing isn't bad, it's better than many of the newer (I say newer since you're still a 'Greenhorn' in the Battle Forums) users have done, but I figured I'd give you my feedback on it.
Introductory/Introduction Post: B+
I personally don't know all that much about Doctor Strange, so it would've been nice to see a little bit of background on the character in your introduction post, you sort of jumped right into the debate and posted some feats, but it's always nice to get a short recap on the character and some of his/her powers abilities before the fight begins.
Regardless; looking at the argument you presented you brought up a variety of good/interesting points but didn't use EVERYTHING in Doctor Strange's arsenal to put HTTK on the ropes. It's good to save some backup arguments for later posts, and it seems you've grasped that.
Rebuttals: B+
You address everything your opponent posts; and you have fairly good answers for them backed up with scans & whatnot.
I might suggest that you use slightly LESS scans in your argument and focus more on wordsmithing, not because scans are terrible, but given the 3 scan rule it'll always be a huge benefit to be able to explain a series of scans than to just try and post the highlights of what you're trying to explain.
I'd also suggest citing issues if you can, I'm always impressed when someone cites a specific instance and they can give what issue it came from as well. That way users know where they can find the specific feat in question should they ever want to do some fact checking of their own.
Character Knowledge: B
I personally don't know much about your character knowledge. From what I've seen you have a decent grasp on Silver Surfer, Doctor Strange, and Ultron; however, versatility is incredibly important when it comes to debating.
I know there are several users who stick to a specific tier (Street, City, Planet, Herald, etc) and that's perfectly fine, it's just good to be able to debate a variety of characters. It also helps in case you're debating against those characters because then you'll be able to use your own knowledge of that character to support your arguments.
Attitude: A
You've got a great attitude about the whole debate thing; it's supposed to be a learning experience. Users like Cosmicallyaware1 and Killemall had some of the best attitudes on the site when it came to debating, and if you keep on your current path then I can see you following in their footsteps in being pleasant to interact with regardless if you're debating against them or alongside them.
Overall Ranking: B+
You're new here, but from what I've seen you have a lot of potential should you take criticisms as an opportunity to grow. I myself have only been a user here for a year and a half; however, I got voted into the Hall of Fame and built a decent reputation and have made many friends here on the Battle Forums.
You can do the same if you stick with it, expand your character roster, build your own unique debating style, and just have fun with it. That's the most important advice I can give, debating here is for fun and too many people take it too seriously.
