SCENARIO: Deathstroke is hired by Lexcorp to capture Banner in the hope of further research for Lex Luthor's "new" plot to destroy Superman. Banner is warned in advance by Lex himself (believing it would be an "epic fight"). RULES: Both fighters get 6 months of prep. Deathstroke is armed with his Power Staff/ Promethium Sword/ 2 specialised flash grenades. Both fighters are given detailed information on the battle ground and eachother. LOCATION: Deep in the Colombian jungles (dense).

Really?

Hulk.

Hulk is so underrated here it's not even funny.

Really? 6 months prep and 2 specialised flash bangs (that could incapacitate Superman) wouldn't help at all?

#5 Posted by swils94 (119 posts) - - Show Bio

Should I add that the fight takes place at 9:30 pm at night if it will help Slade?

It certainly would but Hulk can simply thunderclap him away!

Really. Know who Graviton is? His gravitational energies pack more punch than a flash grenade. And Hulk smashed him.

Remember this is in a DENSE jungle. Would the Thunderclap be as effective if he wrapped his arms around a couple of trees?

Hulk smash.

Im pretty sure a flash bang capable of incapacitating Superman, would stun the Hulk long enough for Slade to unleash him into a trap...

Of course you do. Just like you thought this match up would be a good idea.

Flashbangs? Why didn't you say so? Hulk goes down hard.

I dont know much about Flash Bang, what is it really??

I dont know much about his sword either? it is enchanted and stuffs? because i know there is this enchanted hammer in Marvel Universe, not thor's hammer and nor the worthy hammer, which DP found and gave to walrus. This hammer could effectively eliminate the regenerative abilities of people. Its the sword something similar?

Deathstroke can't beat Hulk in a fight. Its just not possible. But I really doubt he is going to spend six months training to fight someone he knows he can't beat.

More likely he is going to pay some super smart person to built him gizmo to reverse the polarity of Hulks gamma radiation, or other such gizmo nonsense. Something to drain his power, or whatever.

This fight isn't about the fighting. Its about Slade being able to get a gadget that takes away the Hulks powers and ambushing him with it. If he can, he wins. If he can't, he loses.

Pre-split Hulk was a beast. It was strange how smart Hulk was, like it was Banner in Hulk's body. Oh, that and Hulk stomps.

Okay next question: Is Slade's Promethium Sword able to pierce The Hulk's skin?

I've heard that it's extremely durable. Close to Adamantium. But, Hulk's body isn't as resistant to puncture/slashing/slicing wounds as he is blunt force. And yes, there is a huge difference between them.

hulk gets no respect here. *walks away while the hulk song at the end is playing, even trying to hitchhike even though is his room*

This would end fast and after this Hulk would have no heart. ROFL

LOL but you know what the strange thing is, Deadpool actually got the better of Hulk in that issue. He shot hulk multiple times :)

Deathstroke... Shoves the flashbangs in Hulk's eyes (literally) then after they detonate, BEHEADS the HULK! ;)

Beheads the Hulk with what? Deathstroke's sword wouldn't have an effect on the Hulk's durability.

Anyway, locking this mismatch thread. I can't think of anything Deathstroke could come up with that would give him the ability to win this with prep. Feel free to send a PM if you can think of something.
