What weapons does Link have? Current or pre-52 DS?

Both have their best armor and weapons

Deathstroke, especially since he just gave Lobo a run for his money.

Their best weapons and armor?...Ok then Link wins, because if he has everything hes pretty much unbeatable.

This. Link isn't as skilled. He literally just swings his sword around(this is coming from a fan of the series). He relies mainly on his diverse arsenal, which Deathstroke's arsenal counters easily.

Ummmmm...Link in his best gear is literally unkillable, and should outclass Deathstroke in every capacity.

Naryu's Love, Fierce Deity's Mask, Master's Sword, Hylian Shield, etc.

Possibly even the Giant's Mask if necessary. One of those things where Link with his best gear is pretty much an auto-win.

@Floopay: I think New 52 Deathstroke could take Link. He is able to off air plane doors during flight. Battle with clay face clones. He has shown impressive fighting skills and he still has his super human reaction. He had a submarine thrown at him. Took a bomb that blew up a building.

Deathstroke stomps, Link would need more prep.

Link with Fierce Deity's Mask = instant win.

@RainEffect: besides making the battle with majora a cake walk it has never shown any other function or potential.

I suppose the real question is how well would Deathstroke fair against the Gale Boomerang and the Master Sword. The real problem is getting through that nth metal armor!

I forgot about that. Yeah, OP needs to limit links gear.

Though Honestly, in a good set of master gear I think he could take this without using cheater combos. Hylian Shield, Four Sword, Magic Armor, Gale Boomerang, Bunny Hood, and maybe a couple bombs and I think he would take this as well.

Realistically any full set of gear from any Zelda game would give him the ability to at least stalemate Deathstroke imo.

@Wolfrazer: Do you have any evidence of the Deity mask being god like?(sorry if this comes off as rude, I do not intend that)

@Wolfrazer: Majora called it an evil worse than him and based off theories he is the equivalent to an evil Spectre(just theories). There is no actual evidence that it that it is godlike, Majora never elaborated. By game play it is only an empowered Link.

@Wolfrazer: There is something else to go by though. It is Majora's origins in the manga. It can be assumed that the warrior who put the dragon's power in Majora's mask had himself put in the Fierce Deity mask. The warrior himself doesn't have any combat feats.

Link can't use two magic using items at the same time. So he can't use the light arrows, fire arrows, ice arrows, deku leaf, etc. with the Fierce Deity mask on. Even if Link used the light arrows Deathstroke could dodge it. The only other mask that is almost as powerful as the Deity mask is the giants mask isn't really helpful(it would only make him a bigger target). Deathstroke's reaction time gives him the win, but it would be a close battle.

@joeagentofhand1: What do you mean the Giant's mask wouldn't be helpful. I would think he was as big as at least Iron Giant. IMO Link could win with just the Giants mask, by literally stomping.

Deathstroke easily, Link never being allowed to progress as a character severly limits his fighting skills.

@Soul_Rebel: In the one boss fight you can use it makes you slower, a bigger target, and he can only use his sword. He just makes his vital points larger giving Deathstroke a bigger target.

@Soul_Rebel: The giants mask also drains magic as well.

@joeagentofhand1: From what i remember i don't think he slowed down, actually i'm pretty sure he kept the same speed as he had when he was small. The snakes didn't seem like they went any slower, so why would Link? I'll look back and check, but i'm pretty sure that some one who was over a hundred feet tall could probably step on Deathstroke and kill him.

@Soul_Rebel: You are right it doesn't slow you down it does waste magic and you can't use it with another magic using item.

@joeagentofhand1: Shouldn't matter though because link has some big feet now, and could just stomp or kick DS away. I don't know how a giant sword would work on a man. Though your right, it does waste magic, and if somehow DS avoided Giant Link, he would be slightly vulnerable to die from DS after losing all his magic.

@Soul_Rebel: Unlikely. Deathstroke would avoid the stomp clamber up his leg stick his sword in then fall while opening up Links leg. This is a mismatch Link has no skills to speak of and people are trying to give him wins based on items he has had in a specific games none of which is in the OP, it's ok to assume that he would have some of his classic items he has in most games like the strength gauntlets.

This is the only Link with decent combat feats but I sure as hell am not willing to watch this to fight out what they are

ChaosSuperman states he has his best gear on the first page when people asked what equipment Link has. It's not assumed, it was stated by the thread creator.

My bad, I assumed something you put on your face to protect it from harm counted as armour....

Either way he would still have Hylian Shield, Magic Armor, Four Sword (or Master Sword), Gale Boomerang, and his Bow + a good list of magical arrows that he could bring.

A mask can serve to protect your face as much as a helmet...in fact many helmets have built in masks to help protect one's face and one's head.
