Aye, he could. But similarly, Deathstroke could simply raise his gun and shoot Cyclops. With the skill level of current Deathstroke, and the short distance, there's no way he would miss. And considering that his reaction speed is considerably above Cyclops', the bullet would hit him(cyclops) before the visor got completely removed.
Add to that, Deathstroke's Promethium armor, and his Healing Factor, Deathstroke has a pretty good chance of winning.

True and fair point. I hate quickdraw battles. I feel that a location would still make it easier to more accurately visualize the likely outcome.
any prep? they are both quite good with prep, but DS is better. i think with prep DS takes it, and without prep, still DS. like@SirMethos: said, he has better relfexes. and even if the dont start in plain veiw of each other, i have confidence that DS can deflect optical blasts with his sword
