- Adam is not sharing power with any other characters.

- Win by death

- Pre-52 and New 52 feats both count.

Can't think of a way Slade could win.....

I am not sure who T.O.Morrow is. Depends how he beat black adam.

The guy who created Red Tornado. I forget exactly what he did, he just pulled some kind of gizmo out of his ass and knocked Adam out with it. That was with no prep at all. Then Dr. Sivana spent the next several hours trying to figure out how to damage Adam's unconscious body.

Deathstroke gets destroyed it takes nothing less than superman type guys to even hurt adam

@joygirl: I heard that during morrisons run Slade did make a bomb that held back the JLA briefly. I haven't personally read it so that may be false. I can't think of anything Slade has built that would allow him to win.

@jashro44: He also frequently takes on all of the Titans, which includes characters like Starfire, Superboy, Kid Flash, Wonder Girl, etc. Usually all at once.

Slade's New 52 armor is made of nth metal (anti-magic) so Slade wins.

There not really in black adams league (well except maybe kid flash...) and they hold back a lot against Slade. Not that its not impressive but I don't think its enough to take black adam who isn't going to hold back. Also black adams high end feats include stuff like taking on the JLA, JSA, and titans IIRC (not that I think adam is that powerful just that I don't think slade has done anything to really take him on)

But how does Slade hurt him? Thats my main issue....

Slade gets stomped. He has no means to take down a being like Black Adam who will, in character, speed blitz him.

I am absolutely ecstatic about Deathstroke's appearance in the new Arkham Origins game. This picture is so cool.

I'm a little concerned that they fired Rocksteady to make Arkham Origins. Doesn't make a lot of sense to fire the team that has already given you 2 Game-of-the-year Blockbuster Games.

I don't know how Slade would hurt BA at all either... : /

@shawnbaby: Concerned me too. I was actually hoping to see a sequel to Arkham city. Every easter egg i found in the game just made me more and more excited. Sure i have doubts about WB taking over the franchise, but so far i have seen a good idea for a story line, and a good lineup of characters that has me fairly excited. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Black Adam would not speed blitz him in character. He'd laugh off Deathstroke as beneath his notice, gloat a bit, and then speed blitz him. In this situation, if Deathstroke was honestly able to act in character during the prep, then I actually think he'd win. Why? Because in that time period, he'd do as much research as he could, and he'd find a weapon that could work against BA and if he couldn't buy it, he'd steal it. Unfortunately, that involves an outside party, which has been outlawed here. As it stands, Deathstroke can try what he likes, and given that he does have nth metal armor and his ability to construct a psychological profile of Adam, he might last longer than we would expect, but he would die in the end. Without being able to plan it out and get the gear that he needs, eventually BA would muscle through any traps he could set and rip his head off or bury him under a wall of concrete.

He can buy/steal whatever items he wants. By "no outside help" I meant that he cannot recruit another character to fight alongside him, or in his stead.

I've read (I think) the entirety of Morrison's work in the JLA, and Slade never appeared in a single issue.

@joygirl: Ah, in that case he steals something from Luthorcorp or some super-scientist in the DC world who wouldn't be expecting him that can neutralize BA. As noted, it's been done before. And then Slade sets up the battlefield so that even if BA tries to speed blitz him, he just triggers a trap of some sort that is tailor made to stop him.

BA wins. I don't see how Slade would hurt Adam.

I see this being very possible. Then again, it's also possible that Adam's overwhelming badassness can overcome it. It's closer than a lot of folks think, I believe.

so Mr.Wilson took on a bunch of kids... well black adam personally crushed them (full team, not just starfire, beastboy, raven and them. i'm talking Terra and kid Frankenstein and wildebeest etc.) with no hesitation and fought the Justice Society of America, Justice League of America, the Marvel Family, China's Great Ten, and a few other people by himself like a boss. As for the Gizmo that T.O. Morrow used on Black Adam... IT EXPANDED MULTIPLE DIMENSIONS AND REALITIES IN BLACK ADAM'S HEAD AND IT JUST PUT HIM TO SLEEP!!! It was basically like putting an infinite amount of exploding stars into his head. it did nothing but make him to sleep like a glass of warm milk and a blanky... made from the butchered flesh of Deathstroke.

Slade's only outside shot is getting Adam to say "Shazam" at the wrong time. How he'd do that, I don't know if its even possible. Otherwise, I see this going like Deathstroke vs. Superman.

I dont know.. Its gonna be a -really- close match either way but in the end ill give it to Slade, one month is alot of prep and time to steal stuff that can hurt BA.

If he could I imagine that an in character BA would lose by underestimate his opponent

i totally can see deathstroke doing the lighting thing and doing the maths to hit BA with a bullet at the right time

Add in Rose with new 52 then Slade wins with moderate effort. Without only Slade could find a way.

I don't think Rocksteady has been fired. WB owns Batman and wants to maximizie their profits. Lots of consumers already own current-gen systems so a new Batman game would do well on those platforms. Most likely Rocksteady is working on the PS4/XBone Arkham game, while Warner Bros. has gotten a new studio together to bang out a quicky game. Basically they're switching to a Call of Duty style and we get more Batman games.
