Deathstroke vs Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad
@monsterstomp Get in here with dat novel knowledge son.
@i_like_swords: Altair gets stomped. Slade is physically too much for Altair. Despite Altair's "army soloing" feat. Even novelized version of Altair, couldn't even defeat a Mongolian guard, he was saved my his son and someone else.
@monsterstomp: So Altair isn't the super master assassin who every other assassin would lose to? Was he in his prime when he fought that guard, or was he older? o.O Seems weird that he'd have so much trouble with one guard. I haven't heard of his army soloing feat, probably because I didn't ever really finish AC1.
Ah well.
Altair is more powerful in what he stood for, but Slade is powerful just the same. Slade has the better weaponry and physicals. I don't know how Altair keeps surviving 300 foot drops, but it isn't enough to beat DS.
Here's a fun little quote from Arsenal about Slade. Breaking into my personal comic collection for this one!
"Deathstroke. Slade Wilson. To call him a mere master assassin would be the equivalent of calling the Grand Canyon a hole."
@i_like_swords: I think he was in his 60s. However, in Revelations when he returned from Mongolia, he and Darium took on the assassins there (30+). Although, gameplay aside, I guess Darium would have taken the majority. Yeah, its confusing to say the least.
@frisky4: Lol. The Grand Canyon is a hole though.
@monsterstomp: Well, you're not wrong
Still, I think we get what he means
@frisky4: Yeah, I know.
@leo-343:I really want to play that mission now, aha. @monsterstomp: That is pretty confusing. I think it's safe to say Altair was better in his prime though :p
