Deathstroke (new 52) vs Spiderman

Spidey tries to punch deathstroke, slade cleaves of his hand. Whilst peter is on the floor sobbing slade takes his head. Seriously what can spidey do if he can't get close to DS? Webs and flung objects move too slow to hit DS.

If Slade manages to use concussive grenades, and his pretty good aim, he might win a few. Also, the bio nerfed this version of Slade by taking away his promethium bullets which would have done well against the webbing. However, in all seriousness, new 52 Slade will last awhile, but he isn't fast enough to win a majority.

leaning towards spidey but my mind could be changed.

@patrat18: @dondave: from the looks of it, all the drug does is remove all the fear from a persons mind, they tested it and it was similar to scar crows fear toxin. Quoted directly from DC comic database "Additionally, Alfred reveals that the drug literally removes fear from a person's mind, but the body's attempts to reject the drug cause sudden bleeding from the eyes and nasal membranes".

As much as the fight was PIS...it was shown to increase physical stats...hence why Batman looked far more muscular than normal and was throwing down with Supes...PIS for sure, but the stat amp was clearly meant as a byproduct of the drug...

Whether Clark was holding back is irrelevant. An unamped Batman would never be able to punch Superman like that, let alone make him bleed.

Well, wasn't Batman amped as well (according to you)? I don't see your initial point. Nor did I mean anything more than poking fun at patrat18

Batman was only injected with the Venom after Deathstroke destroyed his plane.

Spider-man.

Wow. We all like Deathstroke. We all think he's a cool character and has fun skills/abilities. He reminds me of Clint Eastwood. But c'mon now. Peter Parker would walk over him. This is just a given.

Mobility: Slade has no answer to Peter's superior mobility. Wall crawling, leaping, running, web swinging... Slade can't keep up.

Physicals: Nobody believes that physically Slade is on the same level as Peter. He's not as strong and not as fast. In his armor, durability may be a question mark however.

Mentally: Maybe equal but I am leaning towards Peter on this one. Slade pulls a Lucy and uses 90% of his brain (which remarkably means he still has close battles with Batman? How is that possible and yet people still think Slade can take on Spidey? Yikes). Spider-Man is a genius who has the Spider-Sense.

Gear: Web-shooters vs super high-end swords/armor. Here's the rub. Peter dodges swords all day, every day. Slade isn't dodging the webs. Not happening. And since that webbing can contain super strong opponents, Slade isn't breaking out either. Not before Peter pours on more webbing. And then begins beating him senseless while asking him repeatedly: "How did you ever allow your parody to become more popular than you?"

Final Assessment: Slade gets webbed and beaten into submission. This doesn't take away from how cool Deathstroke is as a character. It's just the way it is. Spider-Man wins 8/10 times. I'll give Slade two win based on he is closer to Cap/Batman level and anyone with a patch is formidable.

In combat DS' sixth sense is better than spidey sense as he knows where Spider-mans going to move to dodge if he swings his sword, he then flicks and draws blood. The sword is the deciding factor here as spiderman doesn't have a strong enough combat speed advantage to dodge the sword 100% of the time and the sword will keep spidey from touching DS
