Deathstroke (Arrow)
vs
Wolverine
- In Character
- Standard Gear (lets pretend Slade's sword is Adamantium)
Fight takes place here:
Who wins?

Wolverine has better maneuverability.
Deathstroke has better strength.
Deathstroke has better and quicker reaction time/weapon skill/martial arts.
I'd give it to Deathstroke.
tough one. I think it would eventually come down to the fact that Wolverine (movie) seems to feel pain a lot more than Slade has been shown to feel pain on Arrow.
In other words a sword through movie logan wouldn't kill (obviously) but it would stun him long enough for Slade to deal major damage(maybe head removal). While logan's claws probably wouldn't even phase Slade much. Unless logan manages to hack off a limb of course!
Still, imo, this could go either way. I say Slade 6/10
Win by KO?
yeah, even BFR is acceptable, like say if they get trapped under rubble or a car that's to heavy to move.
Wolverine chops his head off.
Edit I didn't see that Slade's sword was adamantium. I still think Wolverine eventually wins.
@dondave: and it bounces off to no effect #xmenorigins @bigtewell: Wolverine healed from a nuke, so far he is better.
@allstarsuperman: Chronologically X-Men 2 takes predence. Any number things could have happened to weaken his skeleton over time
I'll go Wolvie. Too durable. not a bad fighter, has good speed, and strength is also good.
Off Topic I actually liked The Wolverine minus the Jean crap
@dondave: it was PIS though, I don't see how you can take that as a feat.

Like the adamantium poisoning setting in.
Deathstroke dominates, Wolverine can get better jumps in it would seem but Deathstroke has demonstrating martial arts that would put Wolverine in the movies to shame. You can't kill/beat Slade very well if you can't even get past his technique.

It could be tickle
Jackverine is rather inconsistent, one second a bullet shot from a small arm can KO him next second a shot gun bullet shot to his head only angers him.
Slade takes it IMO,Jackverine has been KOd rather frequently and even normal folk have given him trouble. I see no reason why someone who's stronger,a better fighter and expert weapon user who also happens to have healing/enhanced durability himself shouldn't be able to take him.
@tdk_1997: Yes, it is very sad, but thats what we get for watching the CW
And Wolverine Takes it, just because they made the deathstroke character some crazy, obsessive guy who holds a grudge for way too long.
@jacthripper: we're not talking about "normal" people... You're giving away the battle cause DS is a lil crazy?
@jacthripper: CW can always amaze me with their stupid effects, costumes and plots and stuff like that.

Manu Bennet is amazing as Slade Wilson.
@entropy_aegis: he is, but they went in the wrong direction with the character, they made him too emptional, I would have liked it better if it was "just business"

He is amazing as Slade Wilson but his costume is one of the worst things I have seen in the show so far.

This.
@dondave: have you seen the wolverine that wouldn't work anymore.
wolverine wins.
@comic_book_fan: Dude, stop your Fanboyism, I like Wolverine, but DS wins this pretty easy.
Claw is way too big an advantage for Logan. He is a decent fighter(not even close to being as good as Slade though). And I think Logan's hf is faster. Slade can still win few with the strength he has, but I'd give the majority to Logan. Bone/No claw Logan is a whole other story though.
Deathstroke is clearly better in all physicals and his healing factor is not at all slouching as he said himself he was breaking his bones and getting all his skin torn of in the ocean but he kept healing from it so I give it to Slade but Wolverine would be very difficult to put down.
@entropy_aegis: @dondave Not to bring up *shudders* X-men Origins, but didn't Wolverine get a hole blown in the Adamantium in his forehead at the end (via adamantium bullet), in about the same spot he got shot in X2? I always thought of that as the writers retroactively covering their asses.

This was my explanation as well, but others wrote me off for saying that it "wasn't even a plot thing-a-ma-bob back then". I have seen the pictures side by side, they don't match up entirely, but I do suppose its a legit explanation imho.
All of you people saying DS wins really need to consider Wolverine's durability and healing factor. The guy walked straight up to Phoenix Force Jean, and it affected him, but not like it was with everything else, shoot she even had Mags in fear(even before he lost his power). Theoretically, Wolverine could survive decapitation, Deadpool(fail) had his healing factor however it was not amped like in the comics, so Deadpool healing factor=Logan healing factor. Deadpool survived his decapitation(in the deleted scene). Honestly what does Slade bring to the table to put wolverine down?
Prep time, Slade easily. No prep time, wolverine but it'd still be a fight
There is no prep.

You made a damn good point. I'll have to reconsider my thoughts on slade taking the majority.

Only reason it effected him in X2 was because of Rouge. It even showed the moment she stopped touching him he immediately awoke from his comatose state.
@redmonkeyssj4: really? I gotta check that out
@redmonkeyssj4: No the bullet KO Logan without any interference from Rogue. But I might side with Logan the more I think about this...
@allstarsuperman: Hadn't this been done before you?
