The way they are written its hard to ignore the ridiculous powers some of these anime characters have. In this case death would use his giant cannon to one hit KO him. If they were both written as marvel characters I think Vemon would take this, both as anime I still pick Vemon but only 6/10. Kid is was too resourceful to outright lose every time.
