I'm not so sure either of these two can hurt the other. Ghost Rider has the better shot so I'll go with him.

How does Sentry wins this ?

@kgb725: DSS best feat besides Sentry's victory over MM was stomp Thor (what GR already did), and solo the avengers during siege (GR did the same thing against even more heavy hitters like: Wanda and Man Thing). DSS was harmed by Thor lightning during Uncanny Avengers and he's driven by his soul, and Zarathos can obviously use hellfire against DSS, which will probably give him the win.

Actually, Zarathos can exploit the only part of the Sentry that yet wasn't proved to be invulnerable, his soul. Speculatively though, but that's what he does.

Leaning towards the demon/angel/clenched fist of god/spirit of vengeance/any other additional retcon that our almighty writers are about to commit.

Going with Zarathos...well...leaning towards him...only from a speculative stand point because of Zarathos abilities for soul and spirit attacks...im going with it because of what DSS stated on panel but it was never shown...and we all know the rules here on the battle forums...highly not a complete argument...

Isn't Zarathos a bit overrated here ?

@realitywarper: its possible...but Zarathos does hold attacks that have not been confirmed yet to not work against DSS...

Which do attack the soul...speculative but debatable...it just not shown on panel...so it a rather deflated argument with no real support...just DSS saying it is his soul that drives him...so...idk...Zarathos is a powerful entity altogether...

And that not means that DSS is more vulnerable than anyone.

Even Sorceror Supreme Doctor Strange using the Dark Arts (Dark Magic) couldn't hold Sentry's mind.

@jas0: DSS did not apear in Siege IIRC. There was only the normal Sentry and Void ( or wasn't it Void?)

You do make generous point about Strange and his inability to use magic to trap Sentry's mind...though i thought about and we are talking about different entities who play different role in creation...Zarathos is the personified angel of vengeance for that does exist...it affects your soul, will, and inner sins...maybe it will work...maybe it won't...i only lean that way because of those statements...but again it has not be proven true or not true on panel...so its loose...if it does i wouldn't say Zarathos is more powerful...just he holds a weakness that DSS possibly holds...like batman with kryptonite...

His weaknesses were his mental issues but he has none now.

Loathe as I am to admit this, but I actually tend to agree with @realitywarper.

This is probably what would happen if this fight happened in the comics. Zarathos would be all badass and grab Sentry and say something awesome like "prepare to feel the sins of all who have suffered by your hand..." and then Sentry would just look at him in disbelief and be like "yeah right, I don't feel sorry for anything, so sucks to be you." Would it be total bullsh!t? Yes. Yes it would.
