Tyrant (depowered)
Death Seed Sentry
@cameron83: Normal tyrant is ever so slightly below galactus (the difference is miniscule) and almost beat him but failed. De-powered tyrant (after he lost to galactus) is above thanos. They had a short engagement in which thanos acknowledged he would have lost had the fight gone on.

Wow.
@cameron83: yup.
Tyrant's feats consist of losing to Galactus and having a pretty decent battle with Thanos.
That's pretty much it.
I'm going with DS Sentry.

Wow.
Didn't death seed sentry just with physical strength alone push a celestial back to a standstill? I don't think depowered tyrant can hang.
Feats for Tyrant?
Well he orginally fought Galactus and lost in a fight that threatened the whole universe.
After he came back, he's mopped the floor, twice with 5 herald level characters. He has a short fight with Thanos who outright admitted a prolonged fight would kill him.
Galactus choose not to fight Tyrant head on because apparently the resulting fight would cause irreversible damage to the whole universe.
Upon realizing Tyrant is gunning for him the first thing Galactus did was feast upon a planet, and plot permitting, still nearly got killed by Tyrant had Morg not intervened.
Jakar, a cosmic entity, whose power rivals Stranger, wanted Tyrant's orb but feared the prospect of facing Tyrant head on and had to seek help stealing the orb.
Tyrant is more or less just as powerful as Galactus, if not more, rather than being close to Thanos in terms of power.
Tyrant is a beast! I can't believe I am going to go against him in this fight. Although I'm not entirely sure who would win, because the are both pretty sick. But the Death seed Sentry was used to stalemate a celestial from descending, while all the heroes were off fighting Kang (who was taking the celestials powers as they were seeping out from its wound). I feel like this is an indicator of how powerful death seed sentry could be. Being matched up with a celestial is pretty impressive. Personally I feel that the Death seed sentry stalemating the celestial like this is far greater than any feats tyrant has. That's the only reason I'm going with the sentry.
@those_eyes: no. He lifted exitars body (who was dead) and exitar was much larger than earth.
@fabulousness17: sentry only lifted exitar, he by no means stalemated a celestial.
@thedailybagel: he stalemated the celestial in the previous issue. He had Rouges help but it was still very impressive. The Sentry was going up (which means he had to fight against the celestials weight as well), as the celestial was coming down.
@fabulousness17: He didn't stalemate the celestial. He stopped it from descending, and destroying earth. He stalled the celestial by help holding it up. He by no means stalemated it.
@thedailybagel: the scariest part in this whole arc was when Death Seed Sentry said that the Void was in the "light place" just outside the White Hot Room. He's got to be extremely powerful if he is kept just outside this room. This is the room where the celestial will regrow and it's the room where the White Phoenix was created.
@beaconofstrength: he was trying to come down and he was stopped. The sentry sat in that same spot, just holding him there, until the very end of the final issue. Seems like a "physical" stalemate to me.
lol.. people still posts in their own thread with different account i see .. it is not actually right in comic vine to take sides in your own thread you know XD
though. i can see DS sentry can physically fare pretty good against depowered tyrant.. i'm not sure who would win in an all out fight.
@ssj_god: how do you know he's using an alt?
@ssj_god: how do you know he's using an alt?
guess from a previous experience
it is not against any rule to use an alt.. though it is generally against rule to take a side in our own thread.. though that is not a bad thing unless you say it's a 'horrible mismatch' in your own thread.. which i saw few days back..lol
@night4345 Yep
@fabulousness17: It doesn't count as an actualy stalemate, though. The only thing Sentry did was stop it from from plowing into earth, with the help of Rogue. He would of been destroyed if the celestial actually fought him.
@fabulousness17: if exitar fought sentry then Reynolds would have been annihilated, it's just a good strength feat, he's in no way as powerful as a celestial.
@night4345 Yep
Then I don't see what the debate here is.
@beaconofstrength: @thedailybagel: I know he would lose in a fight to him. It would be no match. But staying stalemated like this for two issues is pretty impressive. Thats all im saying.
sorry for the bad pic.
@fabulousness17: I've read the comic. It still didn't stalemate a celestial. He was able hold up a descending celestial with the help of Rogue; He was able to carry a dead celestial that wasn't pushing down on him, though.
@fabulousness17: he just lifted it, he didn't stalemate it
@thedailybagel: @beaconofstrength: maybe I worded it wrong. He stalemated the Celestials decent. Stalemate, according to dictionary.com, is the bring to a standstill. How am I getting this wrong?
@marvelous_3212: stalemate means to draw against someone. For example if hulk were to fight thor for ten minutes and they both decided they couldn't win then it's called a stalemate.

stalemate is the fight being at a stand still where both parties are fighting... i don't see the celestial is fighting there.
@ssj_god: oh ok I see. Makes sense now.
Tyrant. DS Sentry's best feat is probably pimp smacking Thor around, but Thanos (who happens to be Tyrant's inferior) has slapped the whole Avengers roster around like fools.
Tyrant wrecks.
Tyrant wrecks.
@killemall: who you think wins this fight?

nope thanos beat galactus
and all dbz level beat him
@iamrightyouknow Thanos didn't beat Galactus. He's fine on the next page. Thanos himself said that all that his blast did was enrage Galactus.
When Galactus returned, Thanos had to beg him to stop attacking him.
