I think that they are comparable in skill,especially with a sword,but Deathstroke also operates on a tactical level. So I say Slade.

But anyway,in before, OMG DEADPOOL IS SO OVERRATED SLADE SHOULD HAVE WON POPULARITY WHINE WHINE

Nth metal amps his stats. It doesn't weigh him down.

I think the OP intended for this to be a skill-based fight. It said no gadgets, which I took to mean no armor. We shouldn't be factoring it into the debate IMO.

@monsterstomp: Yeah i know it does but mainly he got his physicals by a experiment happening to him, so i doubt the difference are that big?

IMO, this could go either way.

@leonkarlen123: The serum enhanced him to Captain America level stats. Nth metal lets him out fight Hawkman easily... Hawkman has been shown to be roughly equivalent to Lobo in JLU #2.

His superhuman physicals are a result of the experimentation to save his life after being wounded (this is the new 52 I'm talking about),and the Nth metal further boosts him IIRC

@boringperson: Actually without nth metal he is said to have the strength of 10 men, he can kick open reinforced steel doors with ease which i honestly never seen Cap showing that kind of strength in comics.
