While I do agree that Captain America (Ameriva?) wins, I attribute it to being faster and stronger, having better stamina, and wielding an indestructible shield. Willingness to kill doesn't play too big a role IMO.
Deadliest Warrior #1: Captain America vs Batman

It's not huge, but mindset does factor into a fight despite naysayers, it was just semantics after arguing past a certain point.
But yes, I do believe that Captain Ameri(v)a winning a fight has more to do that he is a superior fighting specimen to Batman both physically and mentally. He may not have as many gadgets on hand to grant him the versatility of handling context-sensitive situations as Batman, but I see him leading the fight and putting Batman on the defensive rather than the other way around primarily due to his better stats, comparable skill, and shield.
Capt takes all round with at least negative difficulty
Batty can never take the Super Soldier
Captain America can't take Clayface...Batman have similar characters to cap in many incarnations.
Batman would be just as screwed if Clayface decided to pop up without any warning and he didn't have any appropriate equipment on him to take Clayface down.
Steve can just get some S.H.I.E.L.D. tech to handle Clayface, it's not like he hasn't been issued gizmos from them or other sources before.
@vmole: I just a little ABC logic joke against someone that uncapable to give a comment. Also Batman barealy beat Clayface (New 52 the most powerful version of him) with special gears most of the time he play with his psych to have a upperhand...you know exist more in a fight than just strength and gears,Captain America doesn't do it in character...do it?
@cjdavis103: Being superhuman mean nothing,Captain already loses to people that aren't superhuman or have any cybernetic or biological enhancementes before, don't act as he's invincible or use ABC logic on feats to support you opinion.
you where trying to say that batman and Cap share the same characteristics I am pointing out that cap is super human which by definition is >>>>peak human
@cjdavis103: Where I said or implied this? Batman is mentioned to be as peak human in Pre-Flashpoint and in New 52,Captain America is above in phsyical conditions, analytical tatics (related with battle tatics) and in a matter os skills they slightesly match (depend which skills we are counting on)..
@cjdavis103: I forgot to post have battled similar characters to cap in many incarnations.
@cjdavis103: Glad that we started to understand each other.
care to list that gear?
It would be easier to list the things he doesn't have.
Bats has the power of plot. His utility belt contains anything that the plot requires.
Some of the things from the Dark Knight movie: The "Bat-Car-Cutter", the "Bat-Gun-Bender", the "Bat-Turn-Every-Cell-Phone-In-The-City-Into-A-Sonar-And-Transport-It-All-Into-Batmans-Eyes-Erer", the list goes on.
@tparks Oi, fix the title of the thread, it says "Ameriva"
Prove to me in character that Batman would use a car cutter
Yes because gun bending works so well against an idistructable shield
And he needs sensorays here why? I mean he should notice the guy right in front of him
God, I would think you people would know better than to say that Cap. wins because of physical stats. Batman can outsmart him 100 different ways. He may be smart, but batman is a genuine. Batman can just grab one of his batsuits and is stronger than him. Hell, some of those batsuits make him on par with supermans strength, and I think we all know who takes that one. Even without it, batman stomps. Here, take this scenario: Batman throws an' electronic charge at Cap. Cap easily blocks. The electronic charge latches onto his shield, and electrocutes him with 1000 volts of electricity, knocking him out. Fight over.

I was giving examples as how ridiculous batmans gear to get. He can just pull a "Anti-Super-Syrum-Raygun" from his belt, or something.
@wdc: That is PIS at its best and can't be used here
@cjdavis103: you are not the OP or the owner of the board.
@tparks Oi, fix the title of the thread, it says "Ameriva"
I can't believe I never noticed that. lol. Thanks for the headsup!
@cjdavis103: Anyone can claim anything is "PIS." It's a horrible excuse and a crutch.
@tparks: Haha, no problem, i can't believe no one told ya :P
what else do you call "Batman happens to carrying exactly what he needs at that particular moment"
@cjdavis103: Anyone can claim anything is "PIS." It's a horrible excuse and a crutch.
Sorry, fairly new to this whole business. I know most basic terms, but often I find one I don't know. What is PIS?
PIS supposedly stands for plot induced stupidity, but far too often it encompasses anything that a debater doesn't like.

Thank you.
