Either he tricks her into the water again or he doesnt. Although I suppose with his trident he could Magic blast her into the water and beat her down again.
She was already beating him on land sure he was sticking with her but towards the end she started landing more solid shots until the jump on the sculpture and get her into the water
@justthatkid: Yeah he did against an entire invasion from a Cthulu-like dimension.
He oneshot multiple demons with it.
Also if this fight goes into water, DCAU WW (and any WW version for that matter) is badly outclassed, mostly her speed.
In the episode they fought, they hit the water at the same time and WW started swimming before Aquaman.
It didn't matter at all, he quickly outswamm her, went around her and dragged her down. Ana DCAU WW also can't breath underwater.
With the Trident he has even more of an advantage.
And we know AQ can tag her on land. That's not even debatable. DCAU AQ has great speed and the super jump from the comics to counter some of WW's flight (like he did in the episode of the show)
Also this is from the comics of the series.
Should give you an idea of how fast DCAU Aquaman is.
He blitzes Wonder Woman with a super fast super jump. And as he notes that was a punch. If he used the harpoon hand (or the trident he gets in this fight) it could (or would with the trident) be a KO blow.
Dodges GL's attack, blitzes GL and then is fast enough to escape the Flash. On land all the other members if JL (except Superman maybe) have failed to tag the Flash.
And his punches have an effect both on WW and GL.
If the battle stays on land WW should win a tough battle (made tougher by the trident)
If the battle goes in water (like in the episode or in the above scans) Aquaman wins.
And I can agree with you the DCAU Atlantean designs were OK but quite plain. I prefer the New 52 ones with the detailed and different warrior classes and stuff.
@justthatkid: Yeah but he is older and not longer an active superhero. He is in full king mode. But his fight against Kaiju Brainiac and his forces is good although just a few scattered panels among issues.
I like that Earth 12 is part of Morrison's multiverse and has an Aquaman counterpart still resembling the 90s Aquaman that's not evil (although I also love Sea King).
Has he ever really even blasted anything with the trident? I remember seeing the one old king doing it Atlan I assume but never Orin.
Id side with Wonder Woman due to more showings.
Their only encounter seemed like Wonder Woman was gaining the upper hand Aquaman seeing that Aquaman took the fight to sea.
His lack of using the Trident in his appearances have me questioning how much it would add.
Power wise I wouldn't say their far, which might tick people off but get over it. Superman one shot Aquaman sure, but he also did that to Kalibak who KO'd Wonder Woman. The Black Manta guy also gave Wonder Woman a fight.
Aquaman showed super leaping but the extent is unknown.
Wonder Woman for a majority.
To be fair, she was previously poisoned, unless you're talking about another fight. I only remember that one post-poisoned Diana and the time Deadman took over her body and two-shot him
