Ares with the godwave would slaughter Odin and Thor with ease.

Ares with the Godwave should win here all by himself...

Basically it is the energy field which empowered all (or most) of the Gods in DC.

I love how the OP gave Ares something he had no knowledge of.

I think Odin is stronger than Zeus. Now.... Thor vs Ares.... hmm... which Thor is this? If it's current Thor, I'm going with Thor,

@JediXMan: take a look at the OP. Ares with the God-wave is stronger than the three together.

Also, current Thor is no different than classic Thor.

Also, Ares would stomp Thor.

I think current Thor is stronger than classic Thor, since classic Thor doesn't have the Thorforce.

Also, classic Thor fought Galactus (... which I think is BS but that's beside the point)

That's true. He got a significant power decrease after his meeting with Strange.

But by "current" I meant Thor prior to that.

To me, "current" Thor is anywhere from now to his rebirth in Thor #1 (2008).

Thor vol. 3 # 1 was published in 2007. But who's counting anyway.

@JediXMan: But there have been different versions of the "current" Thor. That's like saying classic Thor is both normal Thor and Odinforce Thor and Rune King Thor.

Why would Ares have the God-Wave?

No it's not. Odinforce Thor and King Thor didn't appear after Thor #1. Neither did classic Thor. The only one that did was Thorforce Thor, who is more or less the same as Odinforce Thor (or should be)

By Thor #1 I mean the series that  debuted in 2008.

 @Morpheus_:

I think that's the cover date. I remember buying it in early 2008 (or late 2007)

But there was Thorforce Thor, and then he lost Thorforce becoming once again just Thor. So clearly he is not the same Thor.  My analogy is perfectly valid.

It's not perfectly valid when you mentioned the other versions of Thor.

Anyway, by "current" I meant as he was when he fought and beat the Destroyer armor and brought back Asgard prior to #600. So let's call him pre-Bor.

@JediXMan: Actually Strange said the reparation would consume most if not all of the thorforce. So it's as good as gone.

LOL, I'm such a nag.

As for the fight, Ares with the God wave is more powerful than all the Gods in DC together. Ares without the God wave, that's a subject for a different thread.

Here is Chronos, the father of DC's Zeus. He couldn't really handle the Godwave.

Why did everyone in this thread assume it was Marvel Odin and Thor? Granted, with the Godwave is it kind of a moot point. Still, how would they fare against their DC asgardian counterparts? Since OP clearly had no clue what the Godwave was, or how badly it would unbalance things, I think it should basically be ignored.
