Marvel wins tier 1.

DC wins "Lady tier"... which is rather sexist, honestly.

DC stomps Marvel hard in tier 2.

But even though DC wins 2/3 they lose the war.

So I looked at Dr Manhattan being a deciding factor for DC..But yea Marvel did have a favorable Tier 1,While DC had a stronger Lady Tier, and Tier 2..I was kind of interested in seeing if that powerful Marvel Tier 1 would give Marvel the war..So nobody thought Dr Manhattan could take out more than a few Marvel heavyweights? I can see Silver Age Superman and SBP knocking a few heads off too..

And I didn't put Flash in the fight but I did put Impulse

Well these are based off of opinions..I just viewed it like this..Dr Manhattan can take Apocalypse..Silver Age Superman can take DS Sentry and Thanos..probably not solo, but he is more than powerful enough to handle them..I will admit that Rune King Thor and Trion-Juggernaut will cause serious problems,but I think Superboy Prime can battle Trion-Juggernaut to at least a stalemate if not win..Brainiac-5 would have devised a plan for Martian Manhunter to mentally disable Rune King Thor since he can't over power him..The question is,can Dr Manhattan take Apocalypse out in time to help with Thanos..How will Darkseid measure up against Silver Surfer...In the end;it could go either way..DC most definitely dominated the lady tier and Tier 2..

stop spacing out huge teams like that. Use comma's and list them horizontally/ I'm not keeping track of 50 characters with one per line, jeez

BTW..I guess everyone overlooked Monarch as if he is not a powerhouse when he is..

Besides all the other things that everybody else is saying my main question is why Dr Manhatton? He got played by Ozymandias so why would you pick someone with no prep feats and over another better preper from literally the same story?

All of these Universe vs. Universe battles. There's so many factors to come into play, I don't know why people think there's some definite answer to these type of battles.

Oh,I agree. I was just making sure,since I was unsure.

I always looked at Dr Manhattan as a pretty powerful cool DC character. Plus,Brainiac-5 was listed as part of the DC team as well..

Yea there are several different scenarios that could decide whether one team beats the other. It just always amazes me how different people come up with their own view on who should and should not win you know..I was leaning towards DC from the jump,but I knew plenty of people would see the list and automatically pick Marvel..

Tier 1 is a stomp for DC. With Silver Age Superman, Martian Manhunter and Superboy Prime, Doomsday, Darkseid as the most powerfull members.

Woman Tier goes to DC too. And ( now, that might be controversial ) i think that WonderWoman could solo.

Tier 2...this one...i would say it's 5/10 for both universes.

Ok, with prep i would say that DC has a better one. Why? Because doctor Manhattan can he his freaking future. Also : does the prep masters take part in all three battles? If they do then DC would most certainly win all three battles.

@drfate: First I would like to thank you for having an open mind to this.Yes,the prep masters do take part in all this. I was surprised that hardly anybody recognized that I put that in the notes.But yea Dr Manhattan is far more superior in power than most of the Marvel guys.He would easily defeat both of Marvel's prep-Masters and then the battle would really take off.

And if you noticed, I purposely placed Sasquatch on their for Marvel to match him up against Solomon Grundy. I thought that might be an interesting match. Though I would end up going with Solomon Grundy to take Sasquatch down.

@jmarshmallow: I chose Impulse over Wally West for a reason.

On the last season of Young Justice League: before Wally died he openly admitted to Barry and Bart Allen that they were both faster than him. I wanted to choose one of the younger speedster, and I figured that it would be smarter to choose the faster of the two.That title happens to belong to Impulse(Bart Allen)..

I usually avoid these threads but I think the op deserves an opinion after putting so much time into separating the tiers and deciding all the characters

Team Marvel would take tier 1

Team DC would take lady tier

Team DC Team would win but they cannot deal with the plot longshot. I think it would be a more even battle with full power gambit but dc would win still like 5.5/10

Why make Manhattan a Prep Leader? He has no feats. If you were going to use someone from the Watchmen for Prep leader...it should have been Ozy.

Yes, Manhattan can see into his own timeline...but not anyone elses...and that ability was blocked by Veidt. Someone like Doom can easily accomplish the same thing.

@theking47: 1). Yeah, I'd classify Zoom as a speedster.

2). Wally is faster than him.

Wally is definitely faster than Zoom.

And as of the New52, Wally has better feats than both Zooms anyway.

Everybody is entitled to their own opinion on threads of this nature..The speedster I chose is the one I figured would at least have given Quicksilver a chance to keep up for a little while before eventually being left in the dirt..

I wanted all three battles to be competitive all around..Now if some feel Dr Manhattan would be a bad prep master than so be it..I am confident enough to trust that whatever Dr Manhattan lacked in, Brainiac-5 would have easily made up for..

So whether you chose DC or Marvel ; well this war could have gone either way, depending on the scenario that was presented.

I'm not sure why I said that.

Anyway, It was made clear that if Wally "pushes himself just a little bit harder" then he is Zoom's equal, if not superior.

And on top of all that, Wally has better feats.
