DC Vs Marvel Magic battle

Who wins in this battle for magical supremacy?

DC: Zatanna, Circe, Dr. Fate, Zatara, Klarion the Witch boy, Dark Raven (Not Raven... Dark Raven) and Mordru

Marvel: Loki, Dr. Strange, Enchantress, Scarlet Witch, Wiccan, Sister Grimm and Dr. Doom (Sorcery only)

Extra Question: Apart from this battle which universe has the best magic users?

Leaning toward team 1. Cice and Loki are reasonable matches for each other. As are Strange and Fate. Enchantress would have to be at the very top of her game to take Dark Raven (but it is possible). Zatara and Zatanna have close matches just edging out Wiccan and and sister Grim ( inexperience and limited spells being the only telling difference not actual power). Doom should take Klarion. But unless it's HOM Wanda I don't see anyone on the Marvel team taking Mordru. If it is than Marvel Wins (unless it's SA Mordru, which the image isn't showing that would make it close to a stalemate)

In the other thread, we discussed that Zatanna won because her costume.

In this one, DC still wins because Mordru.

I would say that Mordru could give DC a slight edge, but he could also be taken out of the fight by Enchantress (it only takes one kiss), or outfoxed by Loki or Doom. If it's Wanda with the Life Force ala HOM, or Children's Crusade Wanda there is nothing Mordru can do to win. Not even Sorcerer Supreme Dr. Strange could not contain her, and even Doom was smart enough not to even try to manipulate her while she had that power.

Circe and Zatara and Zatanna are the weakest links on DC, an I would say Wiccan, and Sister Grimm are the weakest on Marvel. Circe has limited magic use, and restrictions on how much power she can use (which was revealed by Diana after she made Diana Human, and stole WW powers). Zatara and Zatanna are the weakest because they have to communicate to use magic, which could be turned off, if they are silenced and subdued. Wiccan has the same problem, Sister Grimm with the witchbreaker staff, is pretty feat less, but her abilities are suppose to be expanded from her usage of the Staff of One. So it's only theory that she could just repeat the feats she did with the Staff of One, nothing's concrete.

Mordru is definitely the strongest on the DC, his vast magical knowledge, and ability to manipulate magical energy trumps the others on his team that's if this is pre-flashpoint, if it's not than Mordru has no feats and can be taken out easily. And Zatanna would be the most powerful. Marvel's is kind of questionable. I would think if this is Children's Crusade Wanda before doom got the life force or HOM Wanda. if that's the case she is the strongest. Loki's vast knowledge and ability to manipulate others, along with is amazing magical ability could be the biggest threat to the DC team. Then you have Dr. Strange, if this is Classic Strange he would be a good fight for Mordru, Sorcerer Supreme Strange (WWH saga), would still be a good fight but he would lose, He also has a very vast mystical knowledge, which surpasses most, and when in doubt of a big lost he could channel Zom. Then you have Dr. Doom current doom isn't much of a magic user, so I'd guess it were an older versions of him. Able to outsmart cosmic beings older than most things, definitely not the most powerful in terms of magical ability, but one of the best tactical and strategic minds on the Marvel roster.

I would need more information on the character to make a call.

This isn't Seven Soldiers Klarion, is it? Cause the real Klarion was pretty beast.

I think dc has more magic users but im not sure. aside from the bonus question i say team one begrudgingly mordru even tough i hate his guts is super op. unless its classic strange then team two

Mordu has soloed the combined JLA/JSA and Legion of Super heroes. He was also the only high powered mystic that Spectre couldn't defeat in DOV (even the Phantom Stranger he could turn into a mouse)

This is essentially incorrect assumption, it would depend on which version of Dr. Strange is in this first. WWH strange would be under Dr. Fate pre-flashpoint. Classic Strange is well above him. Circe and loki are also not a tie, she is not as versatile with her powers as loki, nor as cunning. She was outfoxed by not only DC's Hercules who is an idiot, but WW as well. Who's also not as smart as Loki. Loki would own her. Mordru vs. Enchantress is dependent on if she can kiss him or not. If she can, he will be enthralled, and Enchantress would win regardless of his vast powers. As far as raw power of course he trumps her. But clearly summing up the fight on the first three is utter nonsense. Sister Grimm, Wiccan, SW, could literally do almost anything with their powers. Wiccan has shown in Children's Crusade to have a completely untapped raw power, that is akin to the scarlet witch before M day, as the avengers stated. SW, is also a serious threat. Sister Grimm with the staff of one alone has shown great versatility and creativity and being able to use the same or different spells many way as the staff required it, now those powers are expanded with the Witchbreaker Staff, making it easier for her to use magic.

@Godabed: Do you mean physically kiss? Because magic battles don't usually involve close quarters

Nico's already exhausted most of the spells that would be useful in situations like this: binding, knocking out, freezing, BFR'ing, healing, etc. At one point during the last Runaways ongoing, she was attempting to learn new words so that she could use those spells again, but that wasn't really explored in depth so it's difficult to say whether she could use a spell she's already performed. Not to mention she can't do anything without her own blood being shed first to bring out the Staff of One, and I don't think she cuts herself anymore to achieve that effect. She has to actually get tagged or hurt in some manner before she can use her powers, and since her stats aren't even peak human that tag could very well take her out of the fight. Her powers may be expanded with the Witchbreaker staff, but there is no way of knowing how much they were expanded. She didn't do anything different in the last few issues of Avengers Academy.

Wiccan's best feat isn't even a combat feat, and he suffers from the same issue that Nico does: negligible speed and durability. Neither one is going to pose any kind of threat to someone like Mordru, who was blitzed and punched repeatedly at high speeds by Power Girl and didn't even have a bloody lip to show for it.

Your underselling Circe, she has low feats but so does Loki. At her peaks her magics have stood up to the combined efforts of Spectre, Dr Fate, Zatanna, Madame Xanadu, and others ( War of the God's). Taking a wider view of the whole of her appearances she is a good match for Loki. I doubt for a second that Enchantress would get close enough to kiss Mordru and that her kiss would even work. Sister Grim can't use any spell she already has so her versatility is actually quite limited, and she and Wiccan suffer the same limitations as Zee and Zatara.
