3.I'll say DC
This topic is locked from further discussion.
Just before I post my opinion I'm gonna say I'm a DC fan and I like Marvel but DC is leugeas above Marvel to me.
3. DC maybe because of Michael and Lucifer but Beyonder may be able to take them I don't know enough about him to know but anyone and everyone else falls to both of these (I'm assuming this isn't going to include Presnece and TOAA because then all other charicters become irrelevant and I hate that battle)
1: are you kidding? Because the two greatest comic book writers ever, Frank Miller and Alan Moore both work mostly for DC, of course the greatest works of the medium come from DC.
2: DC. because their characters have a personality, and most of the Marvel characters are kinda two dimensional. Most of all batman, because he isn´t mr perfect and sometimes makes the wrong decisions.
3. if Galactis and the invinsible guys count then it´s pretty pointless, but if you focus on main characters i think DC
Going with DC for all rounds. I just love their characters more and love their storytelling . They take risks and let even iconic characters like Supes and Batman die. Even if it's for a a short while til the next story they don't just bring them back because the fans want it. And then there's Crisis series, there's Blackest Night, SCW, anything Batman related, New 52 was ballsey, but it paid off.
Round one and two
I like dc comics a lot, but truth be told other than batman all the dc characters are kind of flat.
Ex: superman- gets a bit beat up, saves the day, rinse repeat
Wonder Woman- whoa they gave superman boobs
Green Lantern- so great they had to make him in every ethnicity
Flash- I actually don't mind flash good story overpowered
Martian manhunter- we made superman green yay
Batman- dark, brooding, kickass, and rich what's missing
Iron man- is a great character because he does his own work, plus he's richer than batman.
Thor- he's a god nuff said
Hulk- we like him when he's angry
Spider-Man- funny, endearing, he's the heart of marvel
Captain America- what's more patriotic
The x-men- representation of the outcasts, and one of their best selling comics
Fantastic four- scientific exploration and family
I would say that dc villains are much darker and better, but often are evil because they are insane, for money, or just hate their enemy. Marvel villains, while they are a little bit corny, have backstory and motives.
Joker- possibly the most evil villain in any known universe, also very crazy (or is he?)
Lex Luthor- the villain who's a hero in his own way, slightly crazy (we like to call it eccentric)
Green lantern villain here- they're all friends now in their rainbow squad
Enter Wonder Woman villain here- everyone just hates her in the comics
Flash rogues gallery- all pretty strange and not that evil
Martian manhunter has villains?
Iron man villains- he killed them all
Loki- muhahahhaha he is the trickster with a violent streak a mile wide
Hulk villains- evil versions of hulk
Spider-man villains- they all crazy, or just really hate spidey
Red Skull- nazi power
Magneto- we're still not sure where he fits but great backstory
Doc doom- the only guy who really thinks he could take over the world
Marvel heroes>>>dc heroes
Dc villains>>marvel villains
But because most stories are about the heroes marvel wins round one and two
Marvel has more reality benders while dc has more powerhouses
