DC Kings of Prep

Nods to the other thread, who are your top 3 and why?

Mine are:

1. Deathstroke - he's been a legit team threat to both the Titans and the Justice League, and they have members who far outclass him in raw power, yet he exploits their weaknesses.

2. Bane - for the feat of besting Batman albeit with one-sided prep

3. Vril Dox - this dude is no joke. He's been in R.E.B.E.L.S. twice, once against his arguably smarter son who usurped L.E.G.I.O.N. from him, and the other against Starro the fraggin' Conqueror.

Batman- for Tower of Babel, first and foremost, and then for Brother Eye.

Deathstroke- for Identity Crisis and his long history with the Titans.

Prometheus- for wrecking the entire JLA with prep.

Bane's a solid prepper and strategist, but these guys have more impressive prep feats.

Surprised no one has mentioned Lex Luthor.

Aside from getting elected (and not doing much while in office except get impeached) and curing cancer (a tremendous feat but it's just one high showing), I haven't really seen him be effective at outprepping his opponents. Though I did like him as the untouchable businessman during the late 80's early 90's. Then again, he took down Nightwing with prep.

If he can't figure out that a guy he's met several times and who he once hired henchmen to beat up is actually Superman, it doesn't say much for him.

@CitizenBane: Well at least "Red Son" Lex Luthor. He's the only one I really care about anyways.

Lex is smart, no doubt, but Red Son unfortunately isn't canon. He's got some stiff competition here.

Fooling Brainiac twice,the world multiple times,creating clone bodies,turning the sun red,becoming one with zone entity,besting Vandal Savage,royally raping Bruce Wayne's life and turning it upside down,Infinity Inc,Creating a Kryptonian battleship with a few crystals,destroying New Krypton and most of it's inhabitants,Metallo,Parasite,Bizarro,Reactron and a lot more.Lex is a beast.

My personal choices would be

Lex

Kobra(both versions but especially Jason Burr).Jason was a total prep monster in the JSA vs Kobra series.

T.O.Morrow.His tech is more impressive than anyone.

Oh and Prometheus is a retard in a plot device suit.

Course not he's a good guy. The hole of Cry For Justice was a set up for his death.

I thought Cry for Justice was a set up for his return? you know with all the effort and retcons they wen't through to make him badass.

Poor guy.He fell prey to the curse of the anti-batman,should've made him a Mister Terrific villian.Phantom was right,the direct antibatmen are always destined to suck.

I realize it's an Elseworlds, hence why I specified him as a different Lex than the mainstream one.

Sinestro should probably get a mention for orchestrating the destruction of the Green Lantern Corps and the fall from grace of Hal Jordan. Then he orchestrated the Sinestro War, manipulating the GLC into becoming exactly what he had always wanted it to be.
