DC Earth vs Marvel Earth

DC Earth vs Marvel Earth

Rules:

-pre-52 for DC

-all characters that are permanently based and live on Earth in 2010 (no characters that only exist in the past or future)

-only "standard" versions of each character (no amped, possessed, super-charged, or otherwise special versions)

-no prep, although everyone has access to whatever tech and resources they normally have

-bloodlust on for both sides

Scenario:

Both Earths suddenly appear orbiting each other in a unified reality. Each side fully believes the other is evil and must be destroyed at all cost. Each side's objective is to kill everyone on the other planet, even if that includes destroying everything on the planet including cities. While everything on each planet can be affected and destroyed, each planet also has an energy field that keeps it intact. This allows characters to use as much force as needed without risking destroying the planet and therefore affecting their own homeworld. It's not known what's causing this force field, but presumably it's whatever power teleported the two Earths together in the first place.

Win when everyone on the other planet is dead or permanently incapacitated.

Which side wins? How? Who are the key characters for the winning side? Who's left alive when it's all over?

Correct, everyone on the planet... as per rules.

Asgard only qualifies if it's permanently located on Earth at the time... 2010. AFAIK Asgard is normally in a completely separate dimension from Earth.

That's too hard to say, there are so many heroes on both sides that I would possibly forget someone.

For DC I can think of:

Alan Scott (w/ Starheart + bloodlusted = high-end reality warper)

Dr Fate, Zatanna

Captain Atom, Firestorm

Martians: Martian Manhunter, Miss Martian

Black Adam + Captain Marvel

A bunch of Kryptonians

Several Green Lanterns

Wally West (yes, he can fly through space... who's going to stop Wally?)

Zoom

Wonder Woman + All Amazons

Probably a lot more I'm forgetting...

I think the question with Zoom is... how does he get off-planet? I suppose someone like GL could give him a lift to the Marvel Earth and let him destroy everything on the planet. =D

Jakeem Thunder might not be the most powerful person, i mean he will have to deal with Legion and Franklin and being a 5th dimensional genie doesnt automatically give you a win.

Also another one on DC earth would could solo would be Spectre, not seeing how Marvel earth can get past him.

spectre has pretty much always lived permanently on earth, yeah he travels around a bit but pretty much every version of Spectre has been earthbound.

Elaine however is no longer earth bound, and left earth mid way through Lucifer series in 2009 after being hired as Presence apprentice.

Endless too apparently earth bound, and rarely appear on DC earth anyways, they are and have pretty much always been vertigo characters.

I'm going to say no on Hal Parallax because that's a special version of Hal that was around only for a limited time, etc, etc. The battle is intended only for standard versions... there's always too many one-shot amped up characters that pop up. They'd turn the battle into a total catastrophe. =)

What version of Spectre was standard on Earth around 2010, pre-New52? Hopefully a nice bound one, cause unbound Spectre is a total ringer and will unbalance the fight. Unbalanced fight = no fun, hence the rules. =)

During 2010 the Spectre that was around DC earth was Crispus Allen and he was well on earth fighting Final Crisis (and getting punked or humiliated by an amped up Vandal Savage), he was on earth for the entire Blackest Night (where he got mocked by Nekron, same person Hal Jordan as spectre stomped during Day of Judgement), and he was on earth being useless during The Brightest day. Thats pretty much 2009 - 2011 before Flashpoint and new 52.

Ok then, so the Spec for this fight isnt a high-end version. That's fine. We just dont want one team with a universe-destroying uber-power, and the other team without.

While its certainly the weakest version of Spectre by far, problem being, every version of Spectre is extremely hard to put down. Also he still has matter manipulation, the same spectre turned Dr. Light into candle, and i see no reason why he couldnt do exactly that to most people here. I think you are better of banning Spectre from the fight, makes it a little unfair.

Death of Endless has oftentimes appared on earth, she doesn't primarily live on earth per say. Also they generally live outside of Dc continuity and only appear on earth once or twice. In 2010 Death of Endless comes to see Luthor for one during Action comics 890 , but its hard to argue she primarily lives on earth. After all she is the embodiment of Death across the multiverse.

Well i am sure its on earth, not entire sure if its considered DC earth (they never actually meet DC heroes) , i tend to consider that Vertigo earth (although they are same company). Also i am surprised, Mazikeen is not the only one who remains on earth. most often than not, when Lucifer isnt running errands, he hands around earth too, after all he now calls it his home (the bar).

Oh he does, is there an issue after he kills the voiceless Gods? The Lucifer series i got ended after that :( must have been incomplete.
