@the creator: Reality Manipulation may be the deciding factor here but WWH is strong enough to send earthquakes across the entire Eastern Coast just through his footsteps alone.

Ares is no joke.

He had also taken Hades's place (prior to his own death) presiding over death. This means he can summon armies of the dead, etc.

And I don't get it how WWH can take on a large portion of Marvel, but whenever he's facing someone from DC people always says he loses.

well technically this thread was made over 2 years ago and it was bumped by someone... perhaps the OP thought it was a good battle... stuff like that happens... especially if one character has recently had a high showing... so we want to put him up against another powerhouse to see how he would do.

He is low to med skyfather level. 
We all remember how Hulk fared against a Skyfather in battle... 
 
The angrier Hulk is the stronger he gets. 
The more war and conflict there is the stronger Ares becomes. 
 So Hulk would pretty much be feeding Ares, and making him stronger with each punch thrown.

Let's see an angry green machine, vs a god in nigh-indestructible armor which only magic means can penetrate, not only that but a god who grows in power by absorbing anger/hate/fighting etc, who is a master of all forms of combat.

....Yeah, Ares stomps, shouldn't have been bumped back especially for insulting someone from 2 years ago.
