Yes, they are - despite the fact that Raditz was clearly more powerful than Goku and Piccolo, he was performing fighting skills and maneuverability at least quite comparable to theirs - which is a demonstration of superior skillfulness than anyone else on the Z Fighter's team on it's own. That isn't even close to factoring into how badly Vegeta would humiliate Raditz purely based on combat skill, let alone Goku w/ equalized stats.

I'm thinking Saiyan Team.

@pope052: lol at Raditz being more skilled than Roshi, Tenshinhan, yamucha and Kuririn. You tried I'll give you that. Reread the Raditz fight and the whole Dragonball manga before the timeskip and you'll realize how wrong you are. Oh, and Vegeta and Goku did fight h2h during the Buu saga. It was a tie lol

Apparently you'd do good to take your own advice and read through the manga, as Raditz was a comparably skillful fighter to Goku and Piccolo. Despite the fact that he was more powerful in general, he was still easily parrying and outmaneuvering their fighting styles. And since Goku and Piccolo are superior martial artists to anyone else listed on the Z Fighter's side - I don't see why Raditz is having any big issue in a battle of pure fighting skill, against any of them:

As for Vegeta and Goku being evenly matched - I suppose that's debatable, but irrelevant to this fight as they're on the same side.

@pope052: nearly *sigh* everyone has done that before. It has nothing to do with skill. He was 3x stronger than both. There is nothing to suggest that takes skill.

I acknowledge that Raditz was stronger, although by his fighting style he was noticeably comparable to the team as he was treating their skills as a laughing matter mainly thanks to his superior strength - but the heavy implication was that Raditz could employ movements, attacks and parries similar to theirs. Roshi also admitted that Goku, Krillin, Tien & Yamcha had surpassed him in every way as of the 23rd Budokai, and Goku was the prominent factor in skill - who Raditz was comparing himself to well in the aspect.

Lapis and lazuli i could see possibly solo (they don't get tired and are capable of fighting someone equal to them so one could distract and the other goes for the flag)

Tenshinhan could hit with shin kikoho to stall

Yamucha gets yamcha'd multiple times

Kuririn hits with taioken + kienzan combo to keep them at bay

Piccolo goes for flag with lapis

Chaozu blows himself up on one of them (as they're all equal pls it'll stall at least one of them)

Muten roshi gets nosebleed from watching 18

@pope052: when did Roshi say this? I thought he said they surpassed him in strength?

I'd have to have another look at and find the scan for you, from what I recall Roshi said to himself that the fighters (or perhaps it was only referenced toward Goku, i'll search for the scan i'm speaking of later) had surpassed him in every way after their training and he couldn't fight them anymore.
