Broly(from first movie) vs. Cell(from start of the Cell Games)

Meta-Cooler(same as above) vs. Cell(same as above).

Straight up fights. Death or K.O. to win.

I'm pretty sure Broly beats Cell (Galaxy > Solar System), but that's all I know. Don't know anything about Cooler.

Cell. Regeneration coupled with the fact that he still had plenty of power that he wasn't using against Goku or Gohan.

Broly. Trashing 4 Super Saiyans and Piccolo> Losing to two Super Saiyans.

Cell.

Broly beats Cell and Meta-Cooler, Cell loses to Meta-Cooler.

Round 1. Cell

Round 2. Broly

Round 3. Cell.

Perfect Cell and Broly had similar levels of power, but Cell has regeneration, he's a smarter fighter, he's faster and he has a greater variety of techniques.

Some people will try to say that Broly wins because Goku did better against Cell than he did against Broly, but I'd like those people to consider 2 things.

1. Cell was holding back when he was fighting Goku. Goku first notes this as a possibility when he hands the fight off to Gohan. This is later shown to be correct as Cell powers up further after Gohan goes SS2. Note I'm not talking about Super Perfect Cell, I'm talking about when Gohan smashes Cell into a mountain, before he pukes up 18.

2. The movie timelines are not consistent with the series timeline. Just because Gohan was SS1 does not automatically mean Goku was FPSS when he fought Broly. It may very well have been a stronger version of Goku that fought against Perfect Cell.

Broly stomps Cell and disintegrates Meta-Cooler.

Broly fought Goku, Gohan, Vegeta, Trunks AND Piccolo merely 10 days before the Cell Games. So at this point, Goku and Gohan have achieved the Full-Powered Super Saiyan state (the super saiyan state that Goku used to fight Perfect form Cell). Broly absolutely trashed all of them. The same Kamehameha that destroyed the upper half of Cell was tanked with no problem by Broly. The ONLY reason that Broly lost to some "all-energy-combined" punch was essentially PIS because Broly wasn't canon to begin with.

@NeonGameWave: And do you realize Broly is a legendary SS. He's no where near cell's power. The only transformation that matches or even surpasses cell's power is SSJ2. Which is slightly above Legendary SSSJ. I though he was gonna win too but cell has the advantage.

@comicace3: Broly is much more powerful than SSJ2 Goku while in LSSJ form due to the fact that it took Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo and many others to defeat him, Broly`s ki is above Goku`s he should be able to defeat Cell with sheer power alone.

Not really according to the what the dragonball wiki says about the transformation of ssj's...

@comicace3: There must be an error then. SSJ2 is much weaker based on the fact that Goku couldn`t beat Broly when in this form and had only won through the absorption of his friends powers through ki. Cell has been beaten by less powerful attacks and Broly was blasted head on by Goku`s Kamehameha but it didn`t do a thing.

@NeonGameWave: You do realize cell was holding back right? Goku acknowledged that when he was talking to Gohan. It's possible goku could've had a weaker base form when he was fighting Broly other than the full powered super saiyan when he was fighting cell. The cell Jr's had no problem beating goku and his friends while gohan was fighting cell. The only time Cell used his full power was when Gohan was in SSJ 2 . Cell is smarter, definitely faster because if you look at Broly he uses more brute force than speed, and has cellular regeneration.

Broly should definitely have been able to take Perfect Cell out. A low level SSJ2 Gohan + Goten and potentially Goku if he was really there or not still was not enough to kill Broly. They didn't kill him, the sun did. Brolly was totally in tact and caught off guard, he couldn't put that shield up in time to stop the Kamehameha. Broly is an idiot who likes to toy with everyone. He toyed with Gohan, Cell didn't Cell busted out 100% power on him and still lost. So, its safe to say that Broly should be able to take Perfect Cell out. Thats just the way I see it.

@comicace3: That is true, but it took Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, Gohen and etc to defeat him. Cell has been beaten by less, Cell is smarter and a lot more tactical but Broly is much more deadly also his attacks would wipe Cell from existence, lesser attacks have. None of Cell`s attacks would even harm Broly.

@NeonGameWave: The first time it took goku and his friend to defeat Broly but the second time it only took Gohan and Goten ( possibly goku) to defeat him. In DBZ everybody's power is inconsistent, even Broly's. So there is a chance Cell could win.

@comicace3: Wasn`t the second Broly a much weaker or cloned version? Cell would give him a good fight but Broly is too powerful, he`s destroyed planets effortlessly and also his ki is greater than Goku`s, ki on a much weaker level has defeated Cell before. None of Cell`s attacks would harm Broly because Goku`s attacks failed to harm him.

Ohh I know what you're thinking but that was BIO-BROLY. In Broly- second coming he survived goku's... punch of death and arrived on earth. Gohan fought him... beat him and thought it was all over. Then Broly came back to destroy him, Goten came, Broly tries to blast them then they finish Broly with the family Kamehameha. So um yeah that's the story.

It's possible. I guess I'll let you win this debate.

Can we really say how Strong Meta-Cooler is. Vegeta and Goku ended up beating one, though it took everything they had when they beat him. If its just ONE Meta-Cooler than yes Cell and Broly will beat 1 Meta Cooler, but we never truly got to see the improvements made by the 1000000 other Meta-Coolers had once'd they dragged Goku and Vegeta to Big Gete-Star Cooler to get their power drained. So if One were to lose in battle between Broly and Cell we cant just state the next Cooler will lose to them thus the improvments prevent Meta-Cooler from dying the same way twice as well as repairing a flaw it once had. To me this is still questioned But if its Just one Meta-Cooler then to me

cell should be stronger than broly since they fought him first. after the first round of beating broly handed out they all ate senzus .after that, they got beat down before goku killed him. all the saiyans would got a power boost from getting beat so bad, thus stronger when fighting cell. and gohan had to go ssj2 to win no one could go that far in movie 8. by movie 10, broly fought a slacking gohan who actually got weaker over the 7 year skip.

Broly beats cell.

Other than that PIS Falcon Punch, nothing at all even scratched Broly's hide, whereas Cell takes real physical damage while fighting the Saiyans, and got tired as well. Nothing in the series has come close to Broly's durability.

For Christ sake, Broly as a baby tanked Frieza's supernova (which blew the shiit out of Planet Vegeta) without getting any damage. And then he loses against a PIS punch.

If Cell is only at start of Cell games, aka the version that fought Goku, he might have been fighting at only about 60-70%. Metal Cooler might have a chance, considering that movie's power level and continuity was pretty messed up. Piccolo was post-merger and was struggling against some of the robots, whereas base Goku was defending himself competently against Metal Cooler; hell Goku might be as strong against Cooler as he was in the Cell Games, relatively speaking.
