Spider*Mab just unveiled his Batman-esque utility belt featuring magnetic webbing, acid webbing, freeze capsules and the like, therefore he auto-wins.

Just kiddibg. He can take originak movie versiin in my opinion, loses to all other versions.

@Wiggles: I know other versions can, which is one of many reasons other versions stomp. Best movie feat from Vader I recall was force choke.

very possibly. gave parker the benefit of he doubt and assumed the force choke would take as long as it did the way it was displayed in the movie. if so, he could conceivably take vader down before suffocation occurs. if we assume that was just vader playing around and force choke would occur fsster, this is a spite thread.

Vader, rapestomp. Even OT Vader, the least powerful, force choked a dude to death from across a TV screen from another ship -- across SPACE. He also blocked Han's lasers without effort. He crushes Spidey easy. Any more powerful version, like Force Unleashed, owns Parker so hard he has no clue what just happened.

Don't answer that. The correct response would be: nothing.

Vader stomps, whether it's movies or EU.

Force Unleashed - the abomination that it is - includes EU feats. So if any feats from FU are taken into account, one must also mention the others.

Actually, FU doesn't have the best feats for... well anyone. Vader has better feats in other sources than he does in FU.

Darth Vader. What version of it is hardly matters, be it movie, comics or video game. All of them can beat Spider-Man.

Eh. I think Spider-Man has a solid chance at defeating movie Vader.

A fight between EU Vader and Spidey could be even if Vader was restricted to only using the Force for physical enhancement, in which case, this could be a decent battle discussion.

I agree ... just because I don't recall vader multi tasking w/ the force ... or force choke for that matter.

Spiderman webs Vader (could vader stop the web from hitting him ... not sure the movie version showed this kind of feat ... if he can then vader stomps ... if not spiderman has a chance)

This is the one (for everyone reading this, let me emphasize: ONE) circumstance where choke is a legitimate way to win here, since Spider-Man has no defense against any sort of TK. I could see movie Vader winning.

As you said, if EU Vader were restricted to physical enhancement, this would be at least decent. If TK is allowed, however, it's a stomp.

Spider-man wins. He's too fast for Vader, and from what I've seen Vader can only really harm Spidey with force choke, and Spider-man can still web him up and distract him, ending the choke, and giving Spidey room to end the battle with a single punch.

No, you can't multitask while using the force, as seen in the last star wars: while using force lightning, the extremely powerful force user, darth sideous, was as helpless as a kitten when Darth Vader picked him up and threw him down a pit to his death.

also, it seems to me that as long as vader keeps his distance, he can kill spiderman with force choke. In close combat, however, it all depends on how fast vader can draw his lightsaber

in close combat, vader still stomps. his reflexes is too quick for spiderman to land a hit, quick enough to block multiple blaster shots aimed at him directly, with his eyes closed.
