New-52 Martian Manhunter vs. Darth Vader (extended universe allowed). Battle starts on earth, 30 feet apart, civilians everywhere. MM can't leave the atmosphere. No BFR.
Who wins?

I'd say Martian Manhunter either phases through him or, if the force blocks it, punches his body out of his chest.
IIRC Vader doesn't have many fire powers (or any at all) and doesn't utilize force illusions, and is slower and weaker than MMH.
Manhunter, even Legends Vader can't counter an intangible J'onn and The Martian has planetary++ telepathy even in new 52 (pre-flashpoint is canon again, but I will ignore it based on the time the thread was made), J'onn overpowered a telepath who killed a planet of beings with telepathy with a single thought.
J'onn stomps
It would be much closer if speed was equalized
How fast is martian manhunter
Relativistic+ to FTL, comparable to Superman (slightly slower)

Darth Vader is also FTL, so why would equalizing speed do anything.

It says EU, and in the EU, blasterbolts are LS
The very first scene of ANH contradicts that, you know the scan where we can clearly see Rebels moving relative to those blasterbolts.

That would make him sub-relativistic due to pre-cog helping him, and he simply blocked or reacted, he doesn't move at those speeds

that's completely due to the poor vfx back when it was made, and they obviously couldn't animate something to look like it moves LS. That's such a lazy and poorly thought out counter.
No it's not, it just means blasterbolts being lightspeed is outlier since movies are primary canon even for legends.

He's blocked blaster bolts from multiple directions at the same time, at close range, if he couldn't move at LS, pre-cog wouldn't have saved him. And any way the same logic would help him here.
You can react to a 120 mph baseball from a great distance because it gives you enough time to swing the bat just barely reacting. A 120 mph dog would blitz you, because it can simply move out of the way and you're moving in slow motion to it. It's why Spider-Man can dodge bullets but a supersonic speedster can blitz the soul out of him. Martian Manhunter at best is a blur to Vader, and could remove Vader's arm before it finishes it's swing
Also, those old movies are definitely not ftl characters. Vader was barely street level, and handicapped.

How can hundreds of statements, and feats be an outlier? You're whole argument revolves around nearly 50 year old cgi.
No my arguements relies on movies being more of a major canon source than all those comics and databooks combined. Also out of interest; where is those hundreds of statements exactly coming from, can you list actually list them?
@whathappenedSpidey has straight up outspeed bullets in past.
I've been contracted to return briefly; MMH stomps. Vader caps out far below the level MMH routinely plays at. He's physically weaker, is utterly outclassed in TP, and whilst his combat speed is impressive, Manhunter can compensate through phasing and shapeshifting.

Ok and? There's zero proof that those bullets actually traveled as fast as normal bullets. And in the meantime, Spider-Man gets blitzed by Speed Demon, which is absolutely pathetic no matter how you slice it.
Martian Manhunter stomps. INB4 MmH iS a JoBbeR
He's not a jobber, just doesn't act like people pretend he does. N52 is more flexible through so Vader gets his ass beat.
@kaijuking: someone has not called the mods
J'onn stomps.
@pedrolopesmateus: how is vader faster?
