Darth Sidious and Count Dooku vs Sauron and Saruman - Battles

So-who do you think should win? I would give a lightmace to Sauron and a double bladed lightsabre to Saruman so it’s even-Lord of the Rings characters have magic as Star Wars characters have force powers

I can imagine Sidious trying to mind control Sauron but Sauron would kick him out of his mind lol. Sidious would then try and lightning him but I don’t think it will affect Sauron much. Sauron wins by decapitation. Not to mention he can’t really die-he’d probably haunt Sidious in the rare instance he was killed.

As for Count Dooku vs Saruman-Count Dooku for he is more agile and a better swordsman.

Sauron would probaly finish off Dooku with black magic

LOTR's owns this match up so badly it's not even funny...Saruman alone could probably take out Sideous and Dooku at full power....

That is funny though how Christopher Lee played both traitors lol in both series....lol

The Emperor has destroyed whole fleets of ships with force storms. No way in hell can these guys beat him.

As stated-I think Dooku could beat Saruman; his force powers would help defend against magic and as he says:

"It is obvious that this contest cannot be decided by our knowledge of the Force... but by our skills with a lightsaber."

of which Dooku would destroy Saruman

You vastly underestimate Saruman and Sauron they win here.

And Sauron is more of an entity after his physical form got destroyed...

Exactly. Even if he were defeated, Sauron can only be destroyed if his ring is destroyed in Mount Doom.

Thank you ^. And Mace Windu for goodness sake(not even near the most powerful Jedi) could have killed Darth Sideous if not for Anakin interfearing....

Force Storm ain't doing nothin. lol Sarumans dark sorcery will put Sideous on his ass...and he can attack from a far(unlike Sidious)

And unless the ring is destroyed, you can't kill Sauron...

You don't know what you're talking about.

Force storms are enough to destroy entire fleets of ships. Mace couldn't have beat Palpatine, he was letting Mace win to turn Anakin to the Dark Side.

Baldy, I do on the contrary...you don't however...you're very unaware of LOTR wizards and of Sauron...you CAN'T kill him with force lightning lol....Gandalf or Saruman would own the hell out of Sideous if they really wanted to....and have literally thousands of years of experience and power under their belt....

That's nice that force storms can destroy ships in space...but that's very different then something that's beyond that power and two wizards with thousands of years of experience and powerful sorcery...have you even read or seen LOTRs? lol Mace is a great fighter with the light saber and would have killed Sideous if not for plot/anakin interfearing. Yet Sideous is "the master" of darkside force lightning...not buying it.

And again, the only way to destroy Sauron is to put the ring in Mount Doom....Force storms ain't doing crap to that lol.

See the problem I have with this, is the Emperor and his little sith lord are limited to light sabers and force lightling / pushing, while team LOTR can blast them both with magic.

Theres a reason he never relied on that ability to fight another Jedi / Sith lord, because its crazy to be busting wormholes right infront of you to kill someone and think your going to walk out of that without being harmed.

Sauron Solos here!!! If Yoda can deflect Force Lighting with his hands, that the Dark Lord easily rules them both. Don't forget Sauron and Saurman are effectively Fallen Angels. Their power levels are way higher than a Jedi / Sith.

Now a better Question would be Elrond / Witch King versus the Sith!!

In the book of anger (first volume of Palpatines dark side compedium) Palpatine notes that he can use this ability by a simple act of will.

Using the ability at the battle of the pinnacle moon

However, Luke and Leia cut him off from the force afterwords so the storm also swallowed his flagship.

All Books, comics, animations, and videogames that do not contradict the movies are canon.

There are a couple rare exceptions such as the holiday special and lego star wars.

It doesn't matter, the "force is not magic. It is the control of the ambient energy fields all around the universe. Ki energy or whatever you want to call it. The LOTR Suron can only be killed by destruction of the "magical" ring. And natural forces not matter what it is, is going to destroy that ring besides the rule it was bound to.

They can't. Sauron will just wave his hand and the armies and/or armada of ships will just take off in the wind/solar winds.

That's the only way THEY had to kill him and even if they couldn't kill him they could either mind rape or just rip open a hole into hyperspace and BFR both instantly.

The hobbit, lol. He was distracted. And the only weapon capable of that distraction was Aragon's. Sauron didn't engage the Hobbit directly as well. He just took the ring and dumped it into the Lava.

@Baldy: Sauron without the ring (The receptacule of his powers) is a shadow uncapable to do direct damage, he can corrupt and use certain powers, with the ring he is more powerful than any Maiar (The demigod race that include Saruman; Gandalf; Radagast; The Balrog; Etc...) He could pawn Gandalf easily, and he haves enough experience in being an evil overlord to conquest easily Middle Earth.

In power Feats he is a Maiar, so everything Gandalf could do Sauron can, and even more, he is inhumanly strong and durable, virtually unkillable by weapons or regular damage (Yes that include Chocking or any natural force like Lighting) he is a absurdly good weapon master (generally uses a Big Ass Flail) and he can alter matter with different spells and create powerful elemental attacks (Like any Maiar) his only weakness is a ring so fraggin allmighty that you can only destroy it in an specific Volcano....

The emperor is powerful with the force but he is certainly out of his league....

They didn't have trouble with the hobbit....he had trouble with a Deus Ex Machina in the form of a freakin ring that he was bound to. Without the ring there is nothing they can do to him to completely destroy him.

Still waiting for some feats.

All you've said so far is that he is more powerful than someone that looks like an ant compared to the Emperor. What feats does Gandalf have? He couldn't even destroy an army. Where does it say that Sauron is immune to the enegy that binds the entire universe? Yeah, that's right. The universe. Force lightning is concentrated force power.

I don't see how Sauron could possible be immune to the substance that virtually makes up the universe. Hell he had his finger chopped off while at full power, by a dude with a sword.

How is Sauron and Saruman going to avoid being sucked into hyperspace or mindraped?

Why can't the EU be mentioned? It's C-Canon, which is a step below the movies - but it is canon, whether you agree or not. EU material is mentioned in the movies as well (such as Aayla Secura, an EU creation. As is the 501st... well half EU, half fan)

Yeah nothing THEY could do to harm him. They arn't extremely powerful sith masters.

Even if the Sith can't actually destroy him, it would be an easy matter to BFR him.
