Darth Plagueis Runs the Gauntlet

Since being given a crash-course in why Darth Plagueis is awesome, I am now trying to determine just how uber he is exactly. I figured a gauntlet would be a good way to do that.

He goes through the gauntlet twice. First time, no rest or breaks of any kind. Second time, he's at full strength at the start of each round.

Round 1: Luminara Unduli, Barris Offee, Aayla Secura, Saesee Tinn, and Ki-Adi-Mundi

Round 2: Darth Tyrannus, TPM Darth Maul, and NJO Jacen and Jaina

Round 3: Mace Windu, Kit Fisto, RotS LS Anakin, and RotS Obi-Wan

Round 4: NJO Luke, Kyp Durron, and Kyle Katarn

Round 5: DE Sidious

How far does Palpatine's old master get?

Anyone?

Maybe passes round 3.

You should switch Round 2 and 3.

Plagueis gets stomped in Round IV and Round V.

Passes Round I, i think. It'd be difficult though.

Loses Round II, 7/10. Question on that. Is it one fight against Tyrannus and Maul and then one fight against Jacen adn Jaina, or all four at once?

Round III Plagueis loses.... i think.

Definitely wins Round 1. Now.... I think Round 2 is already two squishy. He probably might not make it past that. And same with Round 3.

Honestly, why in the world is NJO Luke (plus other beings) before DE Sidious? NJO Luke > DE Palpatine. Anyways, either of those stomp-solo him. So he stops at two.

Two alone should be able to stop him, based on my debate with Silver. But he can't get past three either, and 4 and 5 are just no-no's.

@ShootingNova: Keep in mind, the second time he goes through the gauntlet he's at full strength. And I thought Plagueis was supposed to be uber. Surely he could handle the 5 Jedi of Round 1.

I would think Mace Windu, Kit Fisto, Anakin, and Obi-Wan would be better than Maul, Dooku, and the Solo twins as the NJO era.

@shroudofsorrow: I don't think so. Dooku was the second or third best duelist in the Order. I believe only Yoda could beat him. Maul ain't that great, i'll give you that. Jacen was pretty strong, Jaina too. But i'm not the foremost expert. Just my personal opinion.

@JamesKM716: I actually think Maul's pretty good...just completely outclassed here. But the same is true of Dooku and the Solo twins. Plagueis was said to move so fast when using a lightsaber it was like a blur. He's not an easy catch and I see him being able to hand Round 2, especially the second time when he's at full strength.

I'd say he loses at Round 3 the first time and 3 or 4 the second time.

@JamesKM716: Nah, I say he gets past two. Three definitely the first time around. The second time when he's at full strength at the start of each fight I'd say he can take both two and three, but he's not getting past four.

Maul and Tyrannus are a tough fight period. Adding in Jacen and Jaina will make it really bad.

Umm.... Maul is good.

@shroudofsorrow: I know how good Plagueis is. Maybe you should see my debate with Silver on Plagueis vs. Darth Maul and Tyranus (and additionally Savage Opress). Plagueis alone takes quite some trouble from both Maul and Dooku. Adding in Jacen and Jaina, I'm quite certain Plagueis loses, at least by a small margin.

Anyway, as off-topic as it is, I figured I should ask: what are the power levels for Plagueis' master? Are they tangible enough to use him in threads? Just curious.

I just figured that anybody who could use red Force Lightning must be pretty beast. And hey, he was the guy who taught Plagueis what he knew. But I'll take your word for it.

@shroudofsorrow: Actually, scrap that. Tenebrous does have a fair amount of feats, including supporting mine ceiling that was collapsing, bolting with a speed sufficient enough to nearly knock Plagueis over from the sheer speed, repelled explosions that could destroy mines using a Force Barrier, fought hundreds of Kursid Warriors alongside Plagueis, and projected lightning that left behind sparks for some time after he had stopped casting the lightning.
