Malak is probably more skilful, to be honest. Competing with Revan exceeds dueling evenly with Bane, to be honest, especially since Zannah is more prepared against Bane than she would be here.
For power, I don't know. Malak froze both Bastila and Carth casually, and he was able to duel Revan/place Revan in a Whirlwind/telekinetically seal blast doors at the same time. That looks to be more impressive than Zannah's showings. To be honest, Zannah never had the accolades he had either. It's interesting, since Zannah is meant to be somewhere around Bane's level by DoE, but it's odd because she hasn't displayed any individual feats that would reflect that, so she just suddenly matches Bane.
Now, given the ambient dark side energies in Nadd's tomb, I suppose Zannah might be able to win with her tendrils in round 2. In round 1, however, her telepathic Sorcery attacks are her only hope, and I question whether she will be able to use such powers when Malak is relentlessly bombarding her with his own attacks.

Just to be clear, I doubt Malak would win every time in the first round, just a small or solid majority. Round 2 might be an even split since Zannah can operate her tendrils.

@i_like_swords: Ah, the days of me two years ago.
Malak wins in tough fights IMO. He definitely has the ability to resist Zannah's sorcery, I'd say he's more powerful overall, and he should be the better duelist as well.
With regards to the tendrils, is that something she can just summon at will? I was under the impression that it took a LOT of effort and concentration to tap into them.
