Replace Hulk and Drax w/ Mongul and Darkseid.
My knowledge on these characters are mostly limited to word of mouth and feats that I have seen on the vine; however, that being said I think Mongul actually takes this with a casual flick of the wrist.
Any reasons in particular?
@classymerc: Oh come on dude, I know PC Mongul is powerful, but he is in no way that powerful.
@darkbeam: Do his omega beams usual do that? Because all I usually see are them knocking someone out.
@warlordeternal: the Omega effect is kinda hard to explain but no It doesn't just knock people out.

Superman has survived getting directly hit by an omega beam. I'm pretty sure durability is all that is needed to survive it, and Thanos has that in spades.
@darkbeam: Well yeah I know the Omega Effect does more then just knock people out (a lot more) it's just that's all I've really seen the beams do.
@warlordeternal: wait never mind this is pre crisis Mongul so he wins.
@darkbeam: Oh, um...Okay.
PC Mongul wins... god, it feels good to say that Mongul actually wins a single battle.
If you want scans, I have them, but I'll just say that in For the Man Who Has Everything (I think it was that story), PC Superman said that he threw everything he had at Mongul, but Mongul was barely scratched (except for getting his clothes burned off by heat vision). Supes tried to blitz him, but Mongul tags him like a normal human and throws him into the air. PC Mongul also beat PC Supes and Martian Manhunter at once with little effort, and Martian Manhunter did nothing bu annoy him for a panel or two.
@darkbeam: Oh, um...Okay.
Pre-crisis Superman feats:
Pre-crisis Mongul beat this guy up^^.
I say Pre-crisis Mongul can one-shot his opposition if Darkseid is not pre-crisis and it's just a regular non-IG Thanos...
@baltoro: I know that. I'm a huge Mongul fan. It's just interesting how he changed his vote as soon as he realized this.
As for the fight, are you sure there's nothing his enemies could do to stop him?
@retconcrisis: The fight you are referring to happened in DC COMICS PRESENTS #36. It was their first actual fight.
I came in here to say Mongul gets stomped, but I am backing him because I see that you specified Pre-Crisis Mongul.

Thanos might be able to beat Mongul telepathically, you've banned BFR and I don't think either of them would survive long enough to pull that off. Precrisis Superman pulls lines of planets as far as eye can see, since Mongul is around that strength level these opponents are outclassed to the point where a backhand could end this. One PC Mongul punch would send either of them into orbit.
@baltoro: I just happened to start thinking about this...
Was there ever any major events that took place to separate the Silver Age from the Bronze Age?

The decline in popularity and temporary stoppage of the Green Lantern comics corresponded to the end of the Silver Age in the early 70s. Some scholars say this grim event was the end of it also:

Someone who lived through the era may have more insight on this.
@baltoro: Just curious about that because I happened to remember that Mongul was created during the Bronze Age, and those Superman pics were from the Silver Age iirc. If there was no event to set them apart then Mongul really did beat the crap out of one of the strongest versions of Superman.
@warlordeternal: You said standard equipment. Am I suppose to believe that You of all people had forgotten about this...
@classymerc: Oh god! How did I forget about that!?

You sure it's gonna be that easy? This battle isn't just h2h.
@warlordeternal: Those feats from that other thread matter here for sure. I think that Thanos probably wins, but I don't know much about PC Mongol so I could be proven wrong.
How is PC Mongul tanking PC Supes any better than Thanos tanking a full blast from Silver Surfer or better than tanking blasts from Odin?

I will tell you what I know.
PC Mongul is the most powerful version of the character to date. He is at least twice as strong as PC Superman, and had variety when it came to powers. He had super strength, laser vision, energy blast from his hands, limited telepathy, and teleportion (he doesn't really use it in combat though). His durability was monstrous, as in there first real one-on-one, Superman threw everything he had into Mongul and all it really did was damage his suit. Mongul then proceeded to beat the living crap out of Superman. Wonder Woman broke her own hand just punching him in the face. When battling the Justice League (Hal Jordan,Supergirl, Red Typhoon, Black Canary) Mongul was literally laughing at all of there attacks. He would the go on to fight Superman and the Legion of Superheroes. During this fight the only attack that truly did much too him was Wildfire's anti-energy blast but that also only really damaged his suit. I can't remember the name of this character but he transmutes the molecules around Mongul into the hardest substance in the DC universe, only for Mongul to pretty much flex out of it with ease. Eventually, using everything he had left, Superman would manage to KO Mongul only to pass out immediately after. This is the only true victory he has over Mongul.
When it comes to gear he has certain devices known as Dimensional-Inversion Cubes, designed to prevent escape by warping their interior reality and absorbing any power used against them from within. He typically only caries one at a time.
@warlordeternal: Doesn't he have lantern rings or something

That's Mongul Jr.
