Pretty much this. Current Thanos has been nerfed ridiculously. Full power Thanos is HOTU version and as such he's omnipotent. 3rd round, you're giving Thanos a year of prep. He'll find a way to overcome the anti life equation and let's not forget that he has the infinity gauntlet too. He takes this round as well.
@The_Soverighn: For whats worth, where do you draw a line on classic version. What counts as Classic Thanos? Is it Thanos before his first resurrection? Second resurrection? Where do you draw a line.

I think i disagree with the first part. Thanos did get the <fake> cosmic cube with prep (although why he choose not to go after IG or UN only Bendis knows) and Darkseid in his current version has 0 prep feat, unless you include fighting and losing against Justice League as a credible showing?
So now the Stranger and the In-Betweener are Elders of the Universe? I think this, on top of everything else, really proves Bendis has no idea about anything Marvel Cosmic.
