His Shields are both technological, trans-dimensional and mystical and the surround him completely, there is no getting around them.

I get tired of having to repeat very basic reasons for why 1 character beats another.
It's one reason why I don't do as many battles as I used to.
Once you said the reasoning for why a character should win for the 10th time, it's gets kind of old.

Thanos might pose a threat to current Darkseid but this is PC Darkseid.
To help everyone put it in to perspective about how powerful that makes the older version of Darkseid, look at current Superman vs PC Superman.
Being a PC character looks to amplify the characters power level by potentially hundreds of times.

So if some people have slight doubts about current Darkseid losing to Thanos, there is no chance of PC Darkseid losing to Thanos.

The power difference is overwhelming.
By force of mind PC Darkseid dominated 6 billion Daxamites (cousins to Kryptonians) and he controlled them over a universal scale.
He defeated Mordru - the most powerful magician in the DC universe (who was a former Lord of Chaos).
He defeated the Time Trapper, who exterting his powers to their fullest, copied a single second of time for the DC universe, effectively creating a parallel universe. This duplicated everything on what appeared to be a galaxy wide scale. All the planets, all the beings - everything.
His physical powers were as great or greater than PC Supermans. That's planet moving strength and the durability to withstand blows and blasts from beings on this level.
His omega effect was one of the mostfeared weapons in the multiverse. It was shown to easily destroy dozens of new gods but particularly ones (like Kalibak) with durability that enabled them to survive attacks from PC Orion.

Everone knows PC characters are supposed to be more powerful Creator but there are a lot of inconsistant things as well. For instance as powerful as PC superman was he lost quite a bit as well, to Lex Luthor, to Mogul, to Parasite, Orella ect and all those characters have about the same feats as they do today theres nothing that says parasite is more powerful then than he is now if he is he has no better feats to prove it. And the feats that PC Supes had he shouldn't have ever lost to anybody. PC Darkseid is not that much more powerful than regular Darkseid to me thats just an inconsistancy of the DC writers at the time. Also what about Powergirl isn't she a PC kryptonian, that should make her stronger than current Superman is now, but she has not proved to be that strong. So in my eyes PC only helps Superman, Flash, and Hal Jordan, not really to many other people in DC at all.

So, making it really simple for you now, if a PC character who can move planets (PC Superman) hits another PC character at full power (PC Darkseid) and PC Darkseid survives that blow with ease, is that one very basic feat, proving their durability .
How avbout if 2 PC characters grapple each other. Both exerting their full strength. If the one PC character is far stronger than he is today, does that now signify a strength feat that shows far more power back then.

Whatever Creator you know im right you just won't admit it, cuz it makes no sense for superman to be able to move planets and then be challenged by people who can't even come close to those feats. Im sorry that's just terribly inconsistant and since you want to prove your point name something else PC Darkseid did other than beat the hell out of Superman. Like you still havent told me who he erased that was worth mentioning. Im waiting.

Thanos did not mind control 6 billion people, but he did lead the largest death cult in the universe by sheer manipulation and guile. The cult was largest organization in the universe at the time and his subjects begged him for death at his hands. This strips out the above feat in my opinion. And Kryptonians (and by extension their cousins have never demonstrated as a species what I would consider a great willpower to resist mind control). This is not an impressive feat to me. Franklin Richards created a parallel universe when he was a child with most of his powers suppressed and restricted. Other weaker marvel characters have created parallel universes and manipulated time in this fashion.

Cool, however do you believe that PC Superman or PC Darkseid has the force of will and physical stamina to absorb God's Power? Thanos did to Marvel's God "One Above All"! Thanos has survived being sucked into a black hole, being bombarded by forces that double that of Galactus at full power and surviving among others. Although, he has few strength feats available (because he's smarter than to use his fists for everything), he strength is said to be incalculable due to cosmic amplification and his cybernetic modifications.

As for resistance feats, see the above post, that just lists a few. The Omega beams would never even get close to Thanos, his force shields would absorb it with ease.

Darkseid can not even take over the weak, backwater plant earth for any length of time. Thanos has a reputation throughout the multi-verse and probably more enemies than Darkseid has ever meet in people. And he is still alive and kicking. He has died a couple of times, but let's be frank: He likes DYING!

Anyway what has Darkseid ever accmplished to even be mentioned in the same breath as Thanos Thanos has conquered the universe twice and almost done it hundreds of times Darkseid hasn't even found the Anti Life equation yet after all this time he still hasent. Darkseids only feats that every one talks about is defeating Time Trapper and Mordru (who is not DC greatest magician), while Thanos has battled Galactus several times, Odin, Mephisto, Celestrials, Universal Deitys. Basically PC or not Darkseid doesn't hold a candle to Thanos at all period............

And the feats that PC Supes had he shouldn't have ever lost to anybody. PC Darkseid is not that much more powerful than regular Darkseid to me thats just an inconsistancy of the DC writers at the time. Also what about Powergirl isn't she a PC kryptonian, that should make her stronger than current Superman is now, but she has not proved to be that strong. So in my eyes PC only helps Superman, Flash, and Hal Jordan, not really to many other people in DC at all.

It's simply Thanos's mind vs the mind that enslaved an entire planet and controlled the actions of 6 billion inhabitants over galactic distances.
So Kryptonians and Daxamites don't have any willpower..... I think I remember Superman resisting early versions of Brainiac telepathic attacks. How about Mon-el, he displayed lots of willpower. Some members of the race will have less willpower but there wil also be many with great willpower. Generalising does not dismiss the feat.

Thanos has beaten Dr. Strange (The Master of the Mystic Arts in Marvel), out smarted cosmic and mystical entities such as Death, Lord Chaos, Master Order, The In-betweener, Galactus, Silver Surfer, The Elders of the Universe, etc . . .

Good, he outsmarted most of them. No doubt because he planned and schemed for it.
A head on fight with no prep time is different.
Beating Dr Strange without prep is not the same as defeating a Mordru. Could Dr Strange effectively beat the entire PC Legion of Superheroes (including Superboy and Mon-el) without prep because some of the members possess huge super speed.
Mordru does not draw on external sources of power (entreaties to other beings of power) like Strange does. He simply is the power. In this regard and as later shown to be a Lord of Chaos, you could relate his power level to that displayed by individual members of the Vishanti. He can further augment his powers by also drawing on external sources.

This is not an impressive feat to me. Franklin Richards created a parallel universe when he was a child with most of his powers suppressed and restricted. Other weaker marvel characters have created parallel universes and manipulated time in this fashion.

The Franklin Richard's universe was limited in scope and was ultimately shortlived and unstable.
The Time Trapper split off a second of time, from the entire universe. This was a stable universe and would last many years.
This was effectively like stealing a second of time and all space from Infinity/Eternity and all other cosmic beings in between (relating it to Marvel).
Not only did he hide this from every being in creation but the Time Trapper then ensured that all travellers in time from the Legions time era only travelled to this variant universe.
Does that help explain the scope of this.

Cool, however do you believe that PC Superman or PC Darkseid has the force of will and physical stamina to absorb God's Power? Thanos did to Marvel's God "One Above All"! Thanos has survived being sucked into a black hole, being bombarded by forces that double that of Galactus at full power and surviving among others. Although, he has few strength feats available (because he's smarter than to use his fists for everything), he strength is said to be incalculable due to cosmic amplification and his cybernetic modifications.

Darkseid is already a god.
PC Darseid survived attacks that make a blackhole look like a cakewalk. Mordru was capable of producing far more damaging attacks that a blackhole.
When did Thanos get bombarded by forces double those of Galactus at full power ?
Having incalcuble strength is a cop out. He has his limits as do most other beings. The same sentence is laid at the feat of the Silver Surfer and he clearly has strength limits.
When Thanos demonstrates the power to move a planet then they can compare.
PC Darkseid rarely used his fists as well since beings died by his Omega Effect with ease.

As for resistance feats, see the above post, that just lists a few. The Omega beams would never even get close to Thanos, his force shields would absorb it with ease.

The Omega beams of PC Darkseid were not a simple energy beam, they were a physical manifestation of Darkseid's control over matter, energy and time. That is why they were often referred to as a Continium Control (read plot device).
Considering that the beams have been shown to cross in to other dimensions, cross through time and even go through other objects in their path (like the body of Orion), I am interested to understand how Thanos can stop them.
The beams enable him to convert matter to different atomic forms, like when he converted Ol-Vir, a daxamite, in to ash. He can simply use the beams to disintegrate, to teleport and to revive beings he has killed with the Omega effect.

PC Darkseid has actually been alive longer than Thanos from their biographies but even with this time advantage I would say that they are even in the scheming and planning stakes, although PC Darkseid has had noweghere as much coverage as Thanos has (as Thanos's repotoire continues to grow and PC Darkseid's cannot).
