Having just watched it last night...I am gonna say Darkseid his durability is just OP....and those omega beams wonder how long Orm can deal with those.

It will be a good, competitive fight, but I think Darkseid takes the win by being more durable.

@deadstrike007: the movie version was thanks to the trident of Neptune.

Justice League did outright admit they couldn't beat him with brute force alone.

He defeated Superman , Wonder Woman , Cyborg and Aquaman with a single move from his trident.

He took attacks from Shazam , Superman , Wonder Woman and Flash with little to no damage. One shotted Shazam with his lightning. Easily defeated Superman and nearly killed him.

The only person capable of fighting him was Aquaman because evidently being of a royal blood he could seemingly negate the boost from the trident.

Darkseid has some pretty damn good durability showings. The main reason Oceanmaster hurt Superman was due to his magic weakness rather than straight up physical superiority. Both have similar reaction speeds as both have tagged the Flash. Could the trident pierce Darkseid? Maybe but I still give it to Darkseid. Higher physical strength, omega beams, similar reaction speed, higher durability.

LOL are people considering Orm a major powerhouse because of his teambusting in the new animated Aquaman movie? he was massively overpowered in that compared to his comic book self.

Besides, Flashpoint Orm had no feats besides throwing up a shield to block bullets. Darkseid tears him apart.

Also the movie was utter $hit in general but particularly at showing powers.

It was not an adaptation of Throne of Atlantis more like a taking a $hit on Throne of Atlantis.

A crowbar pierced Darkseids eye so I'm pretty sure he isn't completely invulnerable to a weapon like the trident.

Its Throne of Atlantis Orm vs Justice League War Darkseid. In that Movie he only fought the Justice League with a lot of difficulty, Orm stomped them pretty much.

There are threads with Wolverine Origins Deadpool and Edward Cullen on this site. The quality of the movies or any accuracy in comparison to other versions is irrelevant.

@saint_sophie: that doesn't make sense because lightening only transform him when he wills it to.

@the_kidd: It did in the movie IIRC. I assume because the trident's magic was more powerful/or it came from Zeus (assuming this Cap gets his lightning from Zeus as well). Plus in the comics high level magic's depowered him before like in DoV.

orm took down the league in literal seconds in their first encounter and sealed them up.

darksied only has the beams and his fists. a few hits of the trident's lightning and darkseid will be incapacitated. arthur only resisted it for periods of time due to his royal blood and orm still had arthur on his knees about to die until it was revealed he murdered atlanna.

The movie was called Throne of Atlantis. You would make sanse to boost Aquaman and Ocean Master and nerf the others
