Batman stomps...
Darkseid vs Galactus
With Anti-Life Equation = Darkseid wins. Without it? I have no clue, would be a nice battle thou
That's no different to saying with IG Thanos wins, which makes it a pointless battle, if one of the fighters needs an upgrade to godhood!
@iron_doom: he did but only cos the omega effect was canceled by the source protecting galactus i think he could take 1 possibly 2 aswell but three he loses to
the source was protecting Galactus?? Where was this ever written? Why the hell would the source protect Galactus? an entity from another universe? It was a crossover, meaning non canon, but, as a stand alone issue, had nothing to do with the source, Galactus is just that much more powerfull than not only DS but his OF, pure and simple!
@lordraiden: Well I think we can all agree that should these two clash, the universe & all parallell universes would be destroyed. Man if comics where real, life would suck so bad...
Funny, I could swear that ive seen guys like Superman for tank PC OB before.
PC Supes Is protected by the source
Prove it.
Most people reference Thanos as the Marvel equivalent of Darkseid, and based on feats, this isn't a bad comparison.
Even against a hungry Galactus, Thanos would probably be outmatched, so I say Galactus wins all 3 rounds.
As for how the anti-life equation effects the battle, it's supposed to "subjugate souls", and Galactus has never had a soul (although Galan presumably had one before the death of the previous Universe, when he was mortal).
Galactus is generally described as a force of nature, and I doubt it would have any effect on him.
Just look it up, the only things that couldn't be effected were things protected by the source. Superman, WW gauntlets etc
Dr. Strange Sorcerer Supreme #45 during the Infinity War. Galactus and his vessel are obliterated. Death tells Strange herself that Galactus is not humanly organic really and technically isn't dead then goes on to say his will to live is so strong he will reconstitute himself and the others. And does.
Galactus all three round.
Galactus for all 3 rounds
Dude, Beta Ray Bill has put a hungry Galactus teeth down his throat. Of course Darksied can do the same.
No, heeeeell no.
Why don't you post how Galactus used Annilihus cosmic energy capsules and channelled the energy from Annihilus star ship allowing him to destroy the three star systems your talking about from Annilihilation Wave Book four.
Post those scans of the blue energy capsules surrounding Galactus just before he performed that feat your talking about.
Starving Galactus is very weak and Darksied would probably destroy him.

that wasn't in a battle, that was in a three issue coming with a lot of planning and prepping! I'm sure this is a straight up battle?

It was prep in order to get BIG G to a starving condition. Which is one OP already created for battle number one. Darksied has a very good chance against a Galactus with little to no energy left inside of him.
No he doesn't.
Thanos knocked him over without any IG or HoTU and Darkseid with ALE would stomp Thanos any day of the week.
Darkseid would alter Galactus down to human size and punch him in the balls.
I don't think Darkseid would kill Galactus even if he could. Remember what happened the last time Galactus "died"? Yeah...
@leonkarlen123: Galactus has size manipulation as well does he not? What stops him from doing the same to Darkseid in your honest opinion?
@mrmagnate5970: He can only alter his own size, not others i believe.
@leonkarlen123: Hmm, you could be right. It does seem strange that a cosmic entity capable of molecular manipulation wouldn't be able to alter the size of another. I still doubt the plausibility of Darkseid being able to overpower Galactus's own size alteration capabilities, not that it would do him much good.
@mrmagnate5970: Well Darkseid has beaten Highfather who is comparable with Skyfathers from DC Universe without the Anti life equation.
With the ALE it makes him much much more powerful than he already is, he overcame The Source even who is the God of the Universe in DC.
DS according to crossovers is equal to mid G. I know its not canon but as a measuring stick for NORMAL DS. DS here has the ALE which basically would make G his bitch and therefore owns all 3 rounds.
Having the ALE certainly helps DS's case. Though, he did run when Orion showed up, even though he still had the ALE??
@clownprinceofcrime1995: it has already been showned in their crossover, darkseid couldn't even scratch galactus. didn't you see when darkseid omega effected him? yet galactus didn't flinch at all. galactus has many ways to kill darseid.
@clownprinceofcrime1995: prove it to me by showing me the scans of that.
Big G
Scans of what? And on my phone so maybe later. PC DS blasting G with the OB (the only way things weren't destroyed by that was source protection as has been explained) and the G blasted DS, the ledge he was standing on gave way and he fell, landed under some rubble and when he got out his clothes were a bit torn and he started to threaten G, they decided they were even and G left.
What's the Anti-Life Equation? Is it meant to be powerful?
It's a concept that hails from a higher dimension and removes all free will from anything in the known universe. It gives it's user the ability to command anything in creation, and it's even commanded the dead (Dead parademons/mummies/zombies) and inanimate objects. It's also powerful enough to rip apart entire galaxies at a time.

What book are you referencing? Darkseid's only had the complete ALE two times that I can remember. One was an alternate future where Superman killed himself, and the JLA died, and the other was Final Crisis.

My bad, I just remembered/realized it was the soulfire he drank when he took on the source. As Homer would say
