Note

To clear up all the various character inconsistencies that get brought up during the debates on who would win between the two, for this battle, only modern feats from the New52 and Marvel NOW! are allowed. So don't start saying "hurr Darkseid loses to stairs" or "durr oops I dropped da cube!" - these are the updated, contemporary versions of the characters.

Darkseid still falls down stairs.

Off recently Darkseid seem extremely powerful and the crossover with green lantern showed just how scary powerful the new gods in general were.

I vote Darkseid for round 1.
