I heard that after sun defeated the chaos king (another one) Buddha granted him powers similar to that of LTs. @erik: the monkey that goku was based on, written like thousands of years ago in china. he leaped to the other side of infinity in one jump, beat up a bunch of abstracts, beat up thousands of warriors that can crush mountains, and move as fast as the wind at once, and only got contained by the presences equivalent, Buddha. oh, and his staff was used to either flatten or hold up a galaxy.

I know who Sun Wukong is. I thought this might have been some kind of anime alternate version like RWBY or something because of the derp spelling.

He would in fact stomp him. The only people who refuted it were a couple of hardcore fans. But there's nothing Superman can do to stop Darshe from erasing him from existence: the end.

You can also watch the latest THE MONKEY KING movie where Wukong literally obliterated the heavens, its warriors (soloed them using clones ala Naruto style) and nearly beat the Jade Emperor.

he erased himself from the book of death.

he leaped to the end of the universe in one jump.

beat up 10000 warriors of heaven. a single warrior can crush mountains and move at the speed of wind.

beat up a bunch of abstracts that represent stars, constellations, fire, water, earth.

almost pulled the sun/moon down on earth, just to kill a minor demon, but thought against it.

scared away/ or beat the jade emperor, who is Odin level.

before his enhancement, he stalemated the most powerful warrior of heaven.

flattened a galaxy with his staff.

only Buddha could contain him, and Buddha was TOAA level.

at the end of the series, Buddha granted him powers similar to LT.

there is much more, but this is all I could find.

Is this the classic Sun Wukong from mythology or a current interpretation?

I think the only big issue is how Wukong erased his name from the book of death. Other than that, I'd give it to Darshe because of how his powers work.

From what i know of Demonbane i'd go with him, but i know even less about Wokong, so i can't be sure.

Well, the current interpretation was based on the myth, so not completely different. As for his feats, they are already posted here, or as I said, watch the movie.

Sun Wukong is a casual universe buster. He is impossibly FTL (crossed an infinite distance in less then a second) defeated hundreds of thousands of abstract beings that embodied the cosmos, and has a mystical staff that can grow to infinite size and can also transform into a giant immortal demon, he can control the path of all heavenly bodies throughout the universe, immortal in all senses of the word, has reality warping, ect. And he could stomp SA supes.

@etheral_dreams: did you get all that from read the whole series or from someone else? I do not remember the staff being able to transform before, and the abstracts he beat are not universal, he beat the constellations, and some basic earth based ones, he never beat that lady who could squeeze his head with ease and is the embodiment of punishment, nor did he beat any other more powerful gods.

I think he meant, extend in size, become long as Sun wants.

He did beat the devil and could possibly beat the Jade Emperor, well, he did beat the Jade Emperor (Forbidden Kingdom).

@afueikawa: the jade emperor is about odin level, he did beat him but a normal level abstract of compassion beat him easily, and actually GAVE him the multiply powers.

the list of abstracts who can beat sun as easily as me breathing:

Manjusri, the embodiment of wisdom

Mahasthamaprapta, embodiment of power

Ākāśagarbha, the equivalent of marvels eternity

Subhuti, the embodiment of existence and oblivion, like the DCs source.

and many more that, like the ones listed, did not even bother to show up.

at the end of the series, sun became the embodiment of victorious battles, so he still was weaker than LT.

I would rate sun as elder god level or slightly above or something, most people are exaggerating his level of power, for he never beat any powerful abstracts at all.

He was literally beating everyone in the heavens, well except for that girl with 2 kids, and of course, Buddha.

ds's dispel bound have huge number of protactive layers around him .every layer can be distroyed with nuke level attack but you cant broke more then one layer at a time and these also regen. At light speed.

Aside from that to kill ds you have to attack him on all three plains of existence altogether.

Further more ds is mftl

And regenerated from head.and has attacks like

Absolute zero,judas priest etc. And can resurrect angel level beings

Jade Emporer is easily Odin plus leveled.

It repels any evil or demons.It easily>Darsh's Dispel Bound if opponents evil. In this case DS can't harm him in any way.

Wukong can also just call in Guan Yin to torture DS for eternity.

Dispelbound is reality warping at Flash level speeds. DS creates and recreates his shields at a faster rate than most speedsters can attack normally. He also recreates his opponents shields at the same time so he'd have the ability to warp Wukong's ward whereas the reverse wouldn't be possible.

Wukong traveled to the end of infinity with one leap.. he is not just ANY SPEEDSTER.

He can take apart DS's sheilds within nanoseconds.

Well it's your problem if you don't no much about Sun because this guy dodged the arrows of 10 000 Celestial soilders with ease. All the arrow traveling at the speed (or greater then the speed of light) of light.

Also if you want to play hax.. Sun Wukong can make infinite clones of himself and turn a single strand of his hair into anything he wants.. soo he can turn a piece of his hair into Galactus if he wanted to.
