no im not misunderstanding either of them and im not saying that she can or will ever win, but what im saying is that she is needed to restart the 616 or maybe the multiverce, and while she is the The White Phoenix Of The Crown she is second only to the tribunal. but for the fight she is the dark phoenix and a lot less powerfull.

That has nothing to do with his strength. He has a need to feed on planets. Not like he wants to or he enjoys, he has to. It's his purpose. His full power can only be reached when he eats a planet of gastronomical proportions (i.e. his home world). So you can't really say bad writing.

Depending on how you look at it, it's bad writing. I for one think that there's nothing wrong with the writing because she defeated a weakened Galactus at minimal power so it's understandable. To each his own I guess.

yeah thats why i'd say not all the time. with that sort of power you know there going to have a confrontation between the two of them, and well who is more popular? there going to give it who sels the most books because thats how they make there money lol. but yeah the white phoenix is bad ass.
