Dark Knight Returns Batman (in armor) runs marvel gauntlet

In character standard gear for everyone in all fights.Gets full rest and armor repaired after all fights.Batman also has all the gadgets he had with the armor in Dark Knight Returns.Batman and everyone he goes vs has knowledge on who there fighting but no prep how far does he go?

Does anybody have the full fight from the comic? Didn't he have a heart attack right after?

He used pills to fake a heart attack. But that fight was so full of PIS I cant really say how he'd do in this gauntlet. I'll say he stops at 4.

Stops at Hulk but gives him a fight,slaughters the first 5 solo at the same time.

It's kind of lacking in feats, right?

I would say he stops at Wolvie, maybe Deadpool, but no way he gets past Logan.........actually if he has the PIS he had in the story he might go far lol

Have people lost their minds? that sonic gun and tazer would flatten the first 5 characters in the gauntlet,it was also capable of withstanding blows from Superman,a weaker Superman yes but far stronger than Wolverine and Spider-Man could ever hope to be. People really need to cool down with the TDKR hate.

He fought a depower Superman that can barely survive a Russian Warhead

Superman was holding back but he still was owning Batman. Also this Superman is far weaker and he was weaker than he normal is because of the nuke.

Wolverine is far more faster and the adamantium claws can tear the suit apart. The only thing I don´t know if he is capable of tanking the sonic gun.

@chaos911: I don't have scans of the comics but I can post the animated version, so you can see what it's capable of. IMO stops at hulk

Superman wasnt even trying and he was picking DKR Batman apart. Then the K-nite mist and suddenly Superman was getting wrecked. It was a terribly written fight scene, and did nothing to prove the toughness of the Bat Armor.

Animated version is far more impressive.

Wait we're using animated or comic versions? if it's animated my point still stands,if comic yeah I'll agree with the others.

Stops at 3 and most definetely stops at 4, we have very little indication as to how strong the suit is.

Batman is just meat and bone... Like all the rest.

The suit has a strong case for its durability having survived many hits from Superman. It also has a few neat tricks attached to it like hypersonics and electrified gauntlets.

LOL, getting owned by Storm? Even TDKR Superman was above Storm, with tech/gadgets he'll get past Storm, probably stop at 6.

I have already posted the majority of the scenes before Kryptonite is added as a factor. Supes was barely touching Bruce and breaking his bones.

Yeah, the very next page after the first one I posted, Green Arrow shoots Clark with an exploding Kryptonite arrow, and as I said, Batman starts whooping him inexplicably. And then, before there is a certain victor, Bruce apparently falls over and dies from a heart attack in Superman's arms.

There's no difference between them. Director stated the film is a copy panel for panel. Animated = Comic. 0.1 % difference.

@black_arrow: I saw it after. Thanks the cartoon pretty much copied the book. I think he can make it to hulk though we don't know the actual strengths of the suit so it could be lower

he is talking about TDKR part one, not about part 2 that It is what we are discussing, they are two completely different movies. The fight was completely different against Superman, It only respected some key parts of the fight. The dialogue is the same.

@black_arrow: The fight was the same. Bruce was still hurt in the film, the comic did a better job of expressing Bruce's pain during the fight but other than that, outcome = same and Superman got smacked around in both, as did Batman.

This Superman is supposed to be an older version of the John Byrne Superman, which is probably the weakest version of Superman since the Action Comics original. Also this Superman was weaker still due to age and having tanked a nuke prior to this fight and still recovering from it. I don't think any of the feats in this fight are usable gauges since we have no point of reference of what Superman's power level is during the fight.

Basically he can rip open a tank, so he's at least as strong as the hulk. Other than that this fight is basically featless. Hulk isn't going to shake Bruce's hand or be affected by Kryptonite though. Everything the suit did was just a distraction to keep Clark too busy to realize that Oliver was getting the drop on him.

If Cap wants to he can throw his shield clean through the armor. Good chance this gauntlet ends in the first round.

Deadpool has decent chances. Swords to the face!

Wolverine, Hulk, Spider-Man, Thor, Storm are all spite. They are not a nuke weakened (druid) Superman more interested in talking then fighting.

Taking old man Bruce, giving him bulky armor and pitting him against people who actually want to fight will only end in tears.

That armor was made specifically for fighting against Superman, and it didn't do as well as people think...

I don't get how people can say Batman would even clear Round 1....

No the fight was not the same. Bruce in the animated fight gave him much more of a fight, It showed suit much durable and strong. Superman easily took Batman helmet and broke Batman three ribs with only one punch. Yeah the outcome was the same but Batman the road was different and what it matters in this fights is the roads not the outcome.
