Fights in NYC
@beezlebub: unalaq in the legend of korra..he fused with vaatu which is the darkness counterpart to raava who fused with wan to become the first avatar
What's stopping Unalaq from possessing Percy through water? Percy's been posses before which is why he fought Jason Grace
@rogueshadow: Unalaq posses Jinora and almost Korra before season finale. I think he could
@supersaiyan_danger: When did he possess Jinora and Korra [Sorry I fast forwarded past a whole lot of this season I wasn't into it at all, except the Wan episodes, they were on ATLA level]
@supersaiyan_danger: How exactly would he posses him with WATER? Percy is the son of a SEA GOD. I really don't see Unalaq's water manipulation powers to be anywhere near that of Percy's, Dark Avatar version or not.
@rogueshadow: this was the episode Korra goes to the spirit world with Jinora and finds her at the Harmonic Convergence place. Unalaq gives Korra a choice to open the Northern portal or "loose your friend's soul forever". This was when he was possessing her with his spirit magic water.
Then Korra was about to get possessed midway through the battle until the fire dragon rescues her from Unalaq's control by smacking him.
So Possessing people or "souls", isn't an issue.
@supersaiyan_danger: That's what I thought you were talking about [Because I usually would only watch battles so I knew where character levels were at for comicvine]. They were in the spirit world at that point, they were not not physical beings, they were spirits, he never demonstrated that ability in the physical plane, he can only do it to astral beings, he couldn't do that in the tangible world.
@rogueshadow: Actualy we don't know that. He never demonstrated that power on anyone else. Plus Korra never developed any spiritual power like that in the spirit world. She only gained her ability to bend by going in physically.
@supersaiyan_danger: Yes but he only demonstrated his corruption power on spirits, so we can't extrapolate that he can do it to physical beings.
Have to go with Percy. Theoretically, based on what the Dark Avatar could acheive, I'd go with the dark avatar.
There really isn't a way for Percy to get an absolute win over Unalaq though :/
@supersaiyan_danger: ik right people always down avatar charchaters its risicolous
@rogueshadow: Well he was about to corrupt Korra's soul by the season finale, that was her soul, not Raava he was about to posses you know.
@supersaiyan_danger: If you're talking about giant Korra, then that was also her spirit. Her physical body was still in the spirit world(lol at the irony of things being in reverse in this case)..
