Dark Archer vs Black Widow

Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow from the MCU vs Malcolm Merlyn/Dark Archer from the CW's Arrow. Both have basic knowledge of opponents in all rounds.

Round 1: Both unarmed. Fight takes place in a field. Morals on.

Round 2: Both have standard gear. Fight takes place in the Shield Hellcarrier. Both begin in cover 30 feet apart. Morals on.

Round 3: Fight takes place here. Midnight. Begin in stealth 200 feet apart at ground level. Standard gear. Morals on

I'm going to favor Malcolm all round. BW might have a chance in round 2. But at best its 6/10

Malcom's hand-to-hand was greater than Oliver Queen's. I can vaguely remember Black Widow taking out nameless security guards....

Round 2: Both have standard gear. Fight takes place in the Shield Hellcarrier. Both begin in cover 30 feet apart. Morals on.

Black Widow has more of a winning shot this round. From thirty feet away she'd evade Archer's arrows (not to mention cover is provided).

Round 3: Fight takes place here. Midnight. Begin in stealth 200 feet apart at ground level. Standard gear. Morals on

Stealth is more in Dark Archer's realm......he'd win.

I'm gonna say Malcolm for all 3 rounds. He stomps 1. He was better at h2h than Oliver, who has some pretty good feats. Round 2 because of the speed. Oliver is much quicker than Widow and Malcolm was clearly quicker. Plus, Natasha has no feats of dodging something as fast as an arrow, IIRC.

None of them has enough stealth feats for me to decide. But Natasha did hide from Hulk for quite some time. She might win this if she plays her cards right.

P.S- Still on season 1 of Arrow. So all this is from a single appearance of Dark Archer.

@rogueshadow: Round 1. I'm leaning with Dark Archer h2h with no gear. Archer has beaten higher quality opponent. Ollie is higher tier then brainwashed Clint.

Round 2. I'd give Archer majority, but with her Widow's bite one hit in melee could end it on her terms. If she can close the gap she wins, but I think arrows close the gap for the majority.

Round 3. Depends on who slips on a banana peel. I'm rolling split 7/10 DArcher here. She can shoot him, he can shoot her. Either way it's ugly. Sad thing is I can't recall any stealth feats for Widow. The best she has is evading the Hulk unsuccessfully.

Lastly I don't think morals fall into play with either. Nobody is gonna cry if somebody gets dead. Well I would if Scarlett got offed, but I think that is understandable.

I'm thinking the first round will be a split. Merlyn used his bow a lot in his hand to hand fights.

Second round I'd give Widow the majority. Pistols trumps Bs and As.

Third round I lean towards Merlyn taking a majority. Just seems more his stage than hers. Stealth will be huge.

I think that Arrow doesn't do much if it doesn't show that archers can take down shooters. Rule of cool and all.

Round one Widow.I think she's a better h2h fighter and DA does not have very many h2h feats.

Round 2 Widow.Becuase of the environment she knows the Hellcarrier much better then he does if it weren't for that I'd give it to him.

Round 3 Dark Archer.It's dark so he can use stealth so DA wins.

True and I considered that but widow is a guard or policeman or a henchman or other fodder. She's one of SHIELD's top agents and that should count for something.

@pokeysteve: I can dig your take on it even if her accuracy feats are not exactly the greatest due to a lack of focus..

R1: Merlyn. It's debatable really as to who's more skilled. Widow displayed some pretty impressive H2H in IM2 and the Avengers, and I have no doubt she would also take out Arrow with maybe slightly more difficulty then Merlyn did. That said, Merlyn appears to have a degree of super-human strength. Very low end, but enough to give him the advantage when skill is about equal.

Watch this clip, at the 1:27 mark he punches off the head of a bronze statue. That's got to take a pretty high degree of strength, more then Widow displayed anyway.

R2: Widow. Far more versatile standard equipment. There's no reason to believe that the stun bombs, and electro-shock grenades she has here wouldn't work on Merlyn, and that isn't even taking into account her widow's bite or pistols.

R3: No clue.

Malcolm wins all rounds.

Merlyn makes her look like fodder, just like he did to Nyssa

Round 1 and 3 I would give to Malcolm but Round 2 I would give to Widow, mainly because she knows the Helicarrier better than Merlyn...

The Dark Archer. Two strong, two skilled, and has great accuracy with his bow.

Merlyn stomps.

Merlyn, Merlyn, Merlyn.

Widow has advanced weaponry, which gives her a slight chance in round 2, but only if she has guns. And once again, Widow has shown an array of weaponry i don't know what to consider 'standard' for her.

Merlyn rounds 1 (very difficultly) and 3 (just guessing here) but the gear and environment is too much in round 2 so Widow probably takes it. I believe Widow is portrayed as being just about peak human in the movies? Maybe I'm wrong. But that would put her on about equal ground with Arrow's top characters in terms of strength, speed, agility etc etc.
