@Hohenheim_of_light: Care to elaborate? Without his shield, doesn't Matt have better fighting skills, and still has his amazing senses. I know Cap is above in the strength, endurance department.

Daredevil doesn't have better fighting skills, at the very best he might be on par with Cap. As far as his senses go they've never worked on characters like Cap like they would against regular canon fodder enemies. It's still helpful but Cap has bigger advantages in his strength, stamina and speed all in which he outclasses Daredevil in.

Dudebro, done countless times.
And like Hohenheim said, Rogers wins.
Even H2H, dudebro?
Just watched the Daredevil directors cut last night, was quite good! loved it! i wonder why they cut out that much of the movie in the theatrical version :(
If you haven't seen the Blue Ray Director's cut, WHATCHA WAITING FOR!!? :D
@k4tzm4n: No,silly, I meant if this fight was already done H2H way.:P

Captain America wins both.
This.

That film is a guilty pleasure of mine.
Yes, I was probably saddest that a sequel didn't come out :P but if you haven't seen the directors cut, check it out with like over twenty minutes of extra content that makes the film even better.

Cap once said that DD while slacking skill-wise is still better than just about everyone else. Just saying.
Please elaborate. How can DD lack the skill and yet still be better than just about everyone else?

It would of been better without Drowning Pool and Evanescence
all this time I can't believe I couldn't see
kept in the dark but you were there in front of me
I’ve been sleeping a thousand years it seems
got to open my eyes to everything
Without a thought, without a voice, without a soul
don't let me die here
there must be something more
bring me to life
DD was mind controlled and therefore was not applying his skill at the best of his ability, but Cap deemed that even the mind controlled and sluggish DD is being better than just about everyone else. I'll have to check the issue for the exact quote, and get back to you.@Morpheus_ said:

Captain America is slightly better than Daredevil in my opinion...

Is'nt that kinda like Ra's calling Bane the most dangerous man alive?lol.
Well, the one is applicable to multiple aspects of the characters (intellect, resources, applications have a lot to do with it), while the other is strictly referring to a single one (ie skill), so I'd take Cap's statement more at face value. Not that I believe it's a reason why Daredevil would win but it's very high praise.@Morpheus_ said:

Yeah, Bullseye on the bike + Drowning Pool made me go :-/
I didn't mind Evanescence, seeing as I liked them when the movie came out :X

@entropy_aegis: @entropy_aegis: Captain America/Daredevil: Dead on Arrival. Same issue that proves Cap can fight while blindfolded.
Thanks.
In h2h, i believe it will be either 5/5 or cap gets a slight majority. I believe h2h, they are even but cap's superior stats might give him the advantage. Of course that's assuming that DD's senses won't help him to even the score.
:)
Comic version, no weapons, I think DD could take Cap maybe 7/10. I think DD's skills are higher and Cap's normal fighting style is more dependant on using his shield than DD's is on his billy clubs. Also, Cap just doesn't do street level fights with the consistence and intensity that DD does. Basically DD is always fighting street levelers which I think would keep him in top form. Whereas Cap is always off saving the universe from the Infinity Gauntlet or some such. He fights street levelers, of course, but not against villains of such consistently high level as DD's foes.
Movie version, I think Cap takes it. His strength and speed were enhanced way beyond the comic version.
In Hand-to-Hand fighting, I'd give Captain America a slight edge. Daredevil has a pretty impressive resume in the guys that he's defeated, hell, he even took down Mephisto. Lol.
It just sucks how the fights that Cap has been in with Daredevil, DD was most of the time hindered in some way, even the time where Daredevil stormed the Avengers mansion, DD was brainwashed.
But if it came down to it where they were not holding back, No Shield, No Billy Club, I'd give this one to Captain America.
Going with the Captain on this one, Matt is good, but he still lost against a brainwashed Cap.
@Morpheus_: DD one said he wouldn't enjoy a fight with Cap, feeling that Steve is playing with big boys not being a street leveler as DD is. 90s, DD was chasing a crazy guy having an american flag on his face, named Nuke. Cool stories. So, I think that Cap could beat Daredevil, but I won't say it'll be an easy one.
I don't remember it. Do you recall an issue # off hand?@Morpheus_: DD one said he wouldn't enjoy a fight with Cap, feeling that Steve is playing with big boys not being a street leveler as DD is.

If you are talking about street of poison fight, it was pretty circumstantial and it kinda favored cap. DD was not really at his best at the time( as he has stated ) and cap was almost bloodlusted, But even at these conditions, Matt was not doing that bad, since he was able to dodge or land some hits on cap and even threw his shield away.
:)
Cap is is the best. He would take DD down fast.

Mmm...
Comic: Captain America
Movie: Daredevil
Captain America the movie has to be one of the worst comic adaptations ever. It was extremely ironic when the plot tried to divert the character of Steve Rogers from being a mere propaganda tool, but when you finish watching the movie, the lack of substance makes the movie as a whole just that. My biggest qualm with the movie is the lack of physical training that Steve Rogers undertakes within the movie. The after credit scene shows Steve boxing like a pro, and the director expects us to believe that those motor skills also come from the serum?
Comic versions, for the most part they are fairly even due to DD enhanced senses, but Cap will still win the slight majority.
Movie versions, I'm only half way through Captain America (not a good idea to start watching a movie at midnight when you are already almost totally asleep), but with that initial run when he first got enhanced, I'm gonna have to give this to him as well {with a slightly larger margin than the comic versions}....and I will be watching the rest of the movie tonight :)
