Matt has his costume from the last episode with his billy clubs, and Ra has his sword with the rest of his attire

Ra's cause he's far more skilled than Matt. He beat Oliver who has beaten everyone else in Arrow

Mismatch.

Maybe not, but almost.

Edit: Ra's VS Thea was a mismatch.

Ra's. Matt's good, but he's not that good. Ra's is capable of catching arrows, knives, swords, etc. with ease. He's also very quick. He stopped a point blank sword strike from Nyssa with his bare hands with ease. He literally moved from one side of the room to the other in seconds when confronting Thea. He beat Thea with such ease that it looked like a 20 year old fighting a 6 year old. Fodder League members can dance around bullets and Ra's is far above them. He effortlessly beat 8 Assassin's at once. He treated Oliver like fodder. Took him on unarmed with one hand behind his back and still made him look helpless.

@bullpr: eh, I don't know about you but each encounter out of 10 is just going to be ra's beating the crap out of Matt for about 10 minutes, purely because of matts damage soak.

That's a mismatch imo. But to each his own.

Daredevil. Ra's has only one feat, and that was beating someone who hadn't trained with swords in a sword fight.

Daredevil has more diversified and impressive feats, and his suit is protected from cuts.

So true. Matt has an astounding damage soak. R'as would be beating the hell outta Matt and after hell lotta time Matt would eventually fall.

No, I love the show, but people really overhype him. He's outclassed here.

Ras started unarmed and Oliver started with 2 swords. Ras stomps.

Ras al ghul. Because even on arrow he has had hundreds of years of training. And as stated above he defeated oliver who is better than Matt at this point in the show.

Plus ras al ghul beat Oliver starting out unarmed rather easily

You know, I think Matt has more of a chance than people are letting on. By the end of the series, his skills seemed more focused. Coupled by his armor and senses, I'm sure he would give Ra's Al Ghul a great fight. I personally don't know who'd win, but it's be cool, regardless.
