Kratos does not have a higher durability than Dante. At best, he has even.....he got killed in the first GoW by a piller (which I'm sure you already know about) that, at it's tip, left a four foot hole in his chest. Dante self-inflicted that to himself and practically laughed about it. He got shot in the head by Lady and made a joke. He two different swords rammed through his chest in DMC3....in the same cutscene.

Kratos's physical strength won't mean much when he won't be able to land a hit, and when bullets and rockets are flying and there's a ridiculously fast person with a big, sharp sword coming for him."

You completely just ignored my entire post.

You know what would hurt Kratos? A sword ramming through his chest. Which Dante is easily fast enough to do, and it will most likely gravely wound if not kill Kratos. Good thing that Dante will be making Kratos mad-it just means he'll be fighting even worse and will miss even more than he usually would.

What magic are you referring to? Dante has doppelganger and Quicksilver among (I believe) others. Kratos has some attacks but they aren't reality warping or anything, and, like I said earlier, Dante will take what he has to dish out with those attacks because he's taken worse.

I'd have to say Dante overall, but Kratos in his world I believe is more powerful than Dante.  But f you take both of them with all their abilities from their much different storylines, I think Dante is just too overpowered.  He can eat any of Kratos' attacks and he's a much faster swordsman.  Kratos is a much more quality character, with flaws and limitations, whereas Dante is created as a superpowered manga style hero-like character.

I agree with this post.  Although I have to say that despite being a mega-badass, Kratos is a really unlikeable character to me. Dude brought most of his troubles on himself. "

Actually Kratos can't even match Dante with speed. Dante has alastor<~as fast as light. Besides that even if Kratos matched his speed he lacks the durability to out match Dante in any other category. Dante cant be killed when stabbed. Kratos can.(yes I know he ends up fighting his way out of hell and/or is the owner of "hell" now. Doesn't make a difference in the fact that he is defeated.

If that whole " hell" logic is applicable it will just be a never ending battle. Though Dante will never be outdone in stamina or strength or even wit.

People come here saying Kratos is all this and that when in fact nothing would be accomplished without the gods help(especially Athena).

They are both awesome characters. But in the end Dante has the power of telekenisis. And immortality/invincibility. Kratos dies many times being stabbed(even when a god). Dante is too durable to be defeated by somone like Kratos.

When it comes to defeating an opponent like Dante.. You would need somone with better survivability. Like Alucard for example.(even though not as much strength... In the end would win).

Or u could get somone like vegeta or Goku to blast him to nothingness ;).
