Both at full power, morals off, Dante is practically a God. In DMC 2, Dante becomes ridiculously powerful, surpassing his father Sparda, learning a powerful new DT, and gaining the ability to Big Shot without the aid of another demon. One can also argue that Royal Guard makes Dante functionally unbeatable, as long as someone isn't too fast for his considerable reflexes.

Dante is DMC2 is such an OP character, he was just to strong in that game.

This is pure spite any incarnation of Dante slaughters Jin. They are worlds apart.

Dante stomps. He was way too overpowered in DMC2.

Jin and the Devil family are strong alright, but strong in the comparison of say.... Onimusha characters, but not DMC main characters such as Dante.

Dante wrecks Devil Jin like a stage 1st boss.

Geez OP I was gonna make a case for Jin, but you should have put some stipulations on Dante a huge amount of spite is oozing from that post.
