You too i remember when you were in the hundreds and i was in the 1000's and pirate too lol hes almost 2000 posts ahead of me and i remember we started near the same time.

I see this fight coming down to proper execution of  windscar spamming. If Dante has rebellion and Ebony and Ivory only then this will be a good match. Dante's superior agility will help but I see Inuyasha wearing him down after awhile.

Wow my last post was dumb. Changed my mind. The healing factor that Dante will not allow him to be worn down. Inuyasha still has a shot with his winsdscar. A good question in this fight would be how powerful the demonic aura of Dante is a successful hit from the Backlash wave would end this, but the odds are still with Dante

Remember Dante's still half human just like Inuyasha is. I dont know if the backlash wave would even work on him. Inuyasha's best bet is the meido ability

Dante stomps the crap out of him. Quicksilver and Yamato destroy inuyasha rather quickly.

Dante has superior speed, regeneration, power and overall skill. Inuyasha is more hot headed and that can be a disadvantage. Dante with just the utilization of the Quicksilver and Doppleganger can overpower him quite easily.

Dante is far stronger, much faster and dozens of times a better fighter.

Honestly, Inuyasha sucks at fighting. Most of his fights have him throwing his projectile sword attack over and over again. Plus without his teammates he wouldn't be able to win dozens of his fights.

Dante has pretty much everything without any help.

I can't believe Royal Guard hasn't even been mentioned. That style is so godly overpowered that it would easily allow Dante to kill an enemy that's a million times stronger than him, as long as Dante holds the advantage in speed/reflexes. Really bad quality video I know, but just watch it from 2:50. That's the kind of stuff Royal Guard is capable of. Complete immunity to all attacks.

This video is much better quality, but doesn't make as much use of Royal Guard.

Time for some cutscenes.

The being Dante killed there is The Despair Embodied, the final evolution of the amalgamation demon lord, Argosax The Chaos. Argosax was, by all accounts, the most powerful being in the DMC universe before Dante came along. Dante's father, Sparda, failed to kill Argosax in his first form, let alone The Despair Embodied. Sparda did however defeat Mundus, the so called Devil of the DMC universe. And well, a video is probably the best way to demonstrate how powerful Mundus is. Note you only need to watch from about 3:00-7:00, the rest is just extra stuff.

Dante also has a trump card, even beyond his normal Devil Trigger. It's his ultimate form called the Majin Devil Trigger. It's unknown if Dante has instant access to this in lore or not, as nothing in DMC 2 so much as challenged Dante in the cutscenes. In gameplay though, this form can only be accessed at very low levels of health. Once again, sorry for the poor quality, not many videos of Majin DT on youtube.

From my own tests I've done, it seems to increase Dante's damage output by at least a factor of 10, if not higher, allowing you to gib bosses in just a few blows. I also don't recall ever taking significant damage in this form, even on the higher difficulties, so I'm pretty sure it's an equivalent defensive boost as well.

dante would win...not because inuyasha is weak...but because dante is arguably the most powerful demon out right now...even the newest dmc incarnation of dante who is severly underpowered would stomp inuyasha

inuyasha has no fighting skills whatsoever. He just spammed his stupid sword powers over and over again. Dante vs his brother might be a real fight.

I'm sure Dante kicks his @$$ too though.

well he would actually stand a chance mostly because his final sword kills anything organic so even a small scratch is fatal
