Dante vs Deadpool - Battles

I was looking at some comments about the upcoming release of Marvel vs Capcom 3 and quite frankly I'm ashamed of some of you...

How could you think Dante would beat Deadpool? Its just not gonna happen, Wolverine can't take Deadpool, Neither can Captain-Freakin' America! or most of the other big name heroes or bad guys. Tell me exactly why you think Deadpool would lose to Dante... or if your a loyal Deadpool fan like myself feel free to put these poor misguided souls on the right track.

Dante curbstomp, Slaughterhouse, Ownage. I think Dante will be beat Deadpool via KO. I think Deadpool will lose to Dante because he gets owned by characters that are weaker than Dante.

Cause dante is virtually bulletproof, has an HF walks around with 5-6 scythes in and goes and punches a jukebox, he holds strength such as punching through massive stones and taking a punch from the savior and holding the statue up then applying enough force to throw it off him. durability and marksman skills over deadpool. like stabbing yamato into the savior's chest then firing multiple bullets against the hilt of the sword from a distance away and all the bullets line up. He is a bullet timer rather easily same could be said deadpool. And he is a better swordsman. and deadpool beating wolverine is debateable as pretty much wolverine could beat him easily and Cap wins too hope i told you everything you wanted to know =)

Dante would probably be class 15 - 25 and moves arguably faster then Spider-Man. A better Fight for Dante would be Noh-Varr.....hmmmm Thread Time!!!!

Dante by DMC 3 would probably class 15-25 but by DMC4 id believe he is above that, as he did block the punch from a giant stone statue Savior and then managed to hold it up then throw it off him with little difficulty.

@god_spawn: Very True. Probably 50-75 range at that point. I would still say for the most part he is a 30 toner at heart.

for the fight the guy was most likely going for is dmc3 dante and i put him around that level of strength, the whole feat with the statue was in my opinion was closer to a 75-100 level of strength as he block the punch and held it and then threw it off, im not gonna say he is deep 100 class, but more so along the lines of like ironman level of strength, the lower 100 tons

yeah but its hard to measure heavy it would be, but its big and made of stone but regardless of that the feat was impressive and dante has an extreme resistance to blunt force trauma and even puncture wounds that go through he manages to recover just fine, i mean he has had his sword stabbed through his chest in like 3 out 4 games and he gets up just right.

@god_spawn: There is a slight problem with that. Chronologically DMC 4 comes before DMC 2 which is the most recent in the series. He wasn't as strong in that game so it may be attributed to all the power ups he receives.

Actually the chronological order of the game now is gonna be DMC which is the fifth game, so its gonna be 5,3,1,4,2 and capcom doesnt even count 2 as part of continuity and if they do its considered the very last game as more will be brought into the franchise but current definite order. is 5314

@god_spawn: DMC is suppose to be a Standalone story I thought? There like not even Demons there Robots. And Dante looks like Edward Cullen with Tobey Maguires Haircut in SM3 when he went all emo. lmao I thought it was a Reboot and it would make sense if they disregard 2.

First I'd like to apologize for not replying earlier but I didn't know there was a post limit and i was at it. Any-who....
If Dante were to fight Deadpool there isn't any way Dante would emerge as the winner. Because your forget that Deadpool packs his own form of Psychological Warfare, while their fighting Deadpool will be constantly mocking Dante, making comments, and generally babbling about nothing what-so-ever almost as if he's oblivious to the Epic battle ensuing. At the same time he'll be blocking, dodging, occasionally shooting and if Dante manages to land a blow in the sword battle Deadpool will regenerate in a matter of seconds. In the Deadpool Corps series Deadpool has a Sword fight while he and his opponents arms are chained together, Deadpool cuts his OWN arm off and while his opponent is in shock from the sight of this Deadpool kills him, would Dante do that? I think not. Besides in the Sword part of the fight to be a good swordsmen you need to be able to predict what your opponent will do next, this is next to impossible when Deadpool is involved. Taskmaster couldn't predict Deadpool's moves TASKMASTER! the guy that makes his evil living COPYING HIS OPPONENTS MOVES, if he can't beat Deadpool then what chance does Dante have.

Actually, if Deadpool were to lose a limb, it wouldnt just regenerate, he would need the severed limb inoder to attach it back to his body. Also, Dante deals with people like Deadpool for a living, and has fought with them on numerous occasions. Adding to that, Dante is a master swordsman, gunslinger, and throws out his own witty banter every now and then.

Even if he did manage to "tear Wade in half" he would regenerate, big whoop, You think Deadpool would be phased by being cut in half or losing a limb?

You people don't get it do you? no matter how many times Dante dismembers/decapitates/disembowls/etc Deadpool, he'll just regenerate an continue to fight, Deadpool is friends with death and can't die anyway. He dated DEATH for shits sake!

have you played any of the DMC's don't get me wrong I love deadpool he's one of my favorite characters but playing the devil may cry games made me realized that dante goes through a lot of shit like how in the first game when he got alatsor through his chest and he lifted himself up while it was in his chest. so if you wana talk about deadpools healing factor i'll talk about dante's invulnerbility

They did a second interview and decided its not gonna be a reboot anymore but a prequel to DMC3 so its the prequel of a prequel. The order of the games now is gonna DMC, 3 1 4 and 2 they said sucks so much they dont want it as main continuity.

You realize all Dante does is mock his opponents as well....

You think Dante is gonna be shocked if deadpool cuts off his own arm? Dante has been impaled by his own sword in atleast 3 different games, i doubt deadpool is gonna shock dante at all. What the hell does taskmaster have to do with this? He is one of the most jobbing street levelers all because he cant copy deadpool doesnt mean anything in this fight all. Dante has shown to be a more proficient swordsman even at age 19 in DMC3 standing his own against vergil in the cut scenes and Vergil would destroy deadpool, they fought so fast to stop rain from falling around them and vergil catches bullets on his sword and fires them back with a swing face it deadpool loses this. Dante by DMC4 is waaaay above deadpool and possibly surpasses Vergil in swordsmanship skills.

Dante cuts DP's head off and wins....Dp cant regenerate a new head while his is still there he would have to go pick it up which he wont be able to do.....end of thread
