Spite. Kain uses tk causing them to implode. He drinks their blood and Raziel eats their souls.
Raziel literally cannot be killed by the way and Kain's been killed and come back. Kain also most recently had his heart ripped out and is still living. Kains powers include flight, ability to turn into a flock of bats, turn into a dire wolf, take the form of other people, go intangible/invisible, electro-kinesis, telekinesis, enhanced strength, vast magical abilities including protective force fields, and he's equipped with the Soul Reaver which destroys you body and your soul.
