Battleground takes place in the Underworld. Dante has half an hour to rest after each round.
1. Wolverine
2. Cloud Strife
3. Superboy (Conner Kent)
4. Sephiroth
5. Loki
6. Thor
7. Superman

Sorry didn't read the rules I am not an expert on Dante I would say stops at Loki
Naah.Round one is a draw.Dante isn't taking out Logan and Logan isn't taking out Dante. Cloud beat sephiroth and sephroth would handle dante with ease.
He stops at round two. Everyone named after would stomp.
@FourthDeity: Why would he have to cut through adamantium? He can just easily knock him out. I've seen better combat speed feats from Dante so he should be faster than Wolverine and the fact he is a 100 tonner with his statue feat, that puts him at a massive strength advantage and in the realm to KO him.

When did Wolverine become an 100 tonner??!?!??!?!?!?
He cannot lift 200, 000 pounds...

@XImpossibruX: Have you seen the feat with the statue?
A statue weighing 100 tons?
I've googled it and youtued it but I cannot find the scan or video

@FourthDeity: Why wouldn't I count KO? It's standard for battle forum rules when none are mentioned (incapacitation, BFR, death KO, etc). Not every battle has to be to the death.
Well usually a battle is to the death. KO = Death, seeing as they can't fight anymore and are completely vulnerable to anyone and anything.
Win by KO -
1. Dante goes through Wolverine. Just from his magic guns alone. Wolverine would get hit by a couple bullets and be down for the count. Maybe not dead, but definitely a win for Dante.
2. Cloud seven slashes Dante and sends him crying back to his father.
He can summon tornadoes, move faster than most people can react and do some kind of astral projection with his swords. What's so special about Cloud other than his uncanny ability to look like a woman?

All of that pales compared to the son of Sparda.
It's cool. Cloud just needs to keep speedblitzing him until he finally goes down like how he beats Sephiroth. Unless you are saying Sephiroth has a slower reaction time than Dante.@Mad8Baller said:

Course Dante is immortal so he would get Ko'd but can't be killed. But it is through the KO rule that Dante beats Wolverine anyways, so Cloud can definitely KO Dante.@Mad8Baller said:

What are Cloud's speed feats against? If it's normal humans then it's not a problem for Dante.

Well, what puts Sephiroth above normal humans in reaction time? I am not familiar with FF at all, so forgive me, but IIRC he was a soldier, so isn't he himself a human?
No idea. But there's quite a few Sephiroth vs Dante threads in Comic Vine already and they say Sephiroth is stronger than Dante.Well, what puts Sephiroth above normal humans in reaction time? I am not familiar with FF at all, so forgive me, but IIRC he was a soldier, so isn't he himself a human?

If he has Yamato he could probably cut through adimantium. Without it he still wins it just takes him longer.
I don't think Dante or Seherioth ever performed to the point where everything around them froze in time. Dante using quicksilver can perform feats like crazy.
Look at him poke the rock, he pokes it with so much speed it sends it flying. Now add his speed blitzing feats like Stringer 1000 while things are frozen like this and you get the idea of how much force is exerted.
If Dante moved so fast that Cloud was a statue and performed 1000 stingers in a second it would rip him apart.
For beating Connor Kent, it depends who is faster. Connor isn't faster than Superman and we know (or actually a lot of people don't know) how fast Superman's combat speeds are. So I don't know who is faster, Dante or Connor.

Cloud is not stronger or faster than Sephiroth. Sephiroth would curbstomp Cloud in about three seconds if he didn't enjoy toying around with Cloud so much, and I'm pretty sure he'd take down Dante and Cloud at the same time without much issue.
This all comes down to what equipment is allowed for both of them. I know Dante can become something of a god with the right gear, and Cloud can become pretty powerful too.
That being said, Cloud's feats are as follows:

That being said, Cloud's feats are as follows:
- Hypersonic reaction time: Cloud can dodge a bullet from point blank (not as in from 3 feet away, as in with the gun pressed to his forehead). He can effortlessly block, deflect, and dodge bullets from multiple sources, as well as handle 2 hypersonic fighters simultaneously. All of this he was able to do while suffering from a debilitating virus that caused him extreme pain and lowered his speed, reflexes, and ability He's also dodged lightning bolts after they've been fired on multiple occasions.
- Superhuman Strength/Striking Power: Cloud can cut through several meters of steel and concrete with a single effortless swing of his weapon, and has repeated this feat several times in a span of less than 12 seconds. He has thrown a person with sufficient enough force to make them go through 5 floors of steel and concrete (steel/concrete feats come from chopping apart a giant building, in case you are wondering). He can also leap the length of a football field or greater in a single bound. His exact cutting limits are unknown, and his strength is unknown, but blocking an attack from him created a 2.5 foot crater in a steel structure beneath his opponents feet.
- Superhuman Durability: Cloud has been thrown through steel on multiple occasions and emerged completely unharmed. He has been stabbed over a dozen times and continued to fight, as well as taken punches that can shatter stone pillars without showing any signs of harm. He's also been shot multiple times and continued fighting (tank busting bullets), and he's been in the center of a fire blast capable of melting steel without showing any signs of discomfort.
- Limit Breaks: These can do anything from stunning targets, giving limitless cutting power (quite literally, allowed him to cut through a being that took steel shredding bullets without so much as scratching it), allowing him to throw opponents over 50 meters with a single swing, send out beams of energy, and hack apart his opponents soul at extreme hypersonic speeds (faster than a bullet, and faster than even Sephiroth can react, and Sephiroth can react at hypersonic speeds, deflect bullets and swing his sword 8 times in the span of .7 seconds without showing any signs of strain or showing his limits). The last attack is literally unblockable, and very lethal.
- Master Swordsman: Cloud is a master at two weapon style, two handed weapons, and single weapon styles, and constantly switches between the three with the use of his fushion sword.
- Materia: With Materia Cloud can move faster than a bullet, create blasts that blow apart the entire floor of a steel building, generate lightning that can blow apart stone pillars, increase his abilities twice over (double strength/speed/etc.), grant regeneration, heal himself, heal conditions, make him all but invulnerable to harm, summon powerful beings upon command, and so much more.
- Levitation: Cloud can fly and levitate at will. He usually uses it for aerial control while leaping, but he can do self-sustained flight if he wants to.

I don't care enough about Dante to counter this :P
